You see this kind of thing all the time in games. Skeletel dragons with no wings that can fly. I'm happy with that video. I like it better than the first one and the BC one. But I have to say, I think Arthas is one of my favorite game villains ever. It kind of pains me to know that his time will come to an end with this story arc.

I saw the video the day before yesterday, it looks pretty cool. I'm mostly interested in how Dark Knights should look, from what I read, they don't look like the normal character models, they have different skin tones and glowy blue eyes? I dunno, the screenshot they provided didn't seem to back that up. One thing I hope they change when they release WotLK... Sylvanas, needs to look like this, not a Night Elf. images.wikia.com/wowwiki/images/3/33/Dark_Ranger.jpgIf she's a Dark Ranger, this is what she *should* look like. I hope they change her in game model to something like this, it's more appropriate. A little thing, I know, but... it bugs me that she's a night elf.

I agree 100%. Ofcourse they made her character model before The Burning Crusade and Night Elf models were probably easier to use at the time cause Blood Elves weren't around yet. But they have those now so they may as well change her look. The also need to shorten her size. Lilithen visited her (during the scene where she sings) and she TOWERS over Lili. She's massive. It doesn't look right. If anything she should have shrunk a bit since she's a corpse now

Sorry, double post. But I found a neat addon called Xperl. Its a party/raid addon that increases the size of the party window and healthbars. Handy for me cause I find the health bars to be a bit small. Another problem I had with FF as well. It also shows numbers and percentages which WoW can do on its own but the placement of them is better. You can choose to have fat health bars or thin ones and I'm not sure which I like better yet. As for all the health bars below the party members thats the raid bars. This addon adds raid members on the screen automatically which is good. I hate drag and dropping them myself. Normally though I'm gonna be doing Karazhan so i won't have that many health bars invading my screen. Just 2, possibly 3 maybe but not 8 EDIT>> And the addon also animates character portraits. Not a useful addition by any means but it does look neat.

Well that was Alterac Valley so there was 40 people. Normally I wouldn't have that many people and the odd time I'll be raiding it'd be cut down quite drastically. The raid window is pretty much covering the whole screen and that does kinda suck. But any non PvP raid groups will look fine for me.

Good lord what resolution do you play at?
I find AV raid windows pointless as you dont have that many people near you in healing range. I just fine the tank beating up Galv or Drek and heal him. Thats usually it. Or I turn on the SHIFT V bard, even though they give me a migrain from bouncing all over the screen.
I should show you one of my raid screens from my healing days.

I downloaded that once, but had a case of ARGHWTF when I did cuz there was so much STUFF, and hell I was by myself. Caller says my screenclutter drives him crazy... it's not that bad. I would play at 1024x768, but my action bars move onto my minimap... so I play at 1280x1024. I may be able to reduce the size of it of I get rid of titan bar though... which I may do, I'm not really using it anymore.

I play at max resolution. I agree the raid window in AV is pointless as is any PvP ground really. Only reason i had it turned on was so I could tinker with the settings and get it set for when I raid for real. Cause when I first turned the thing on everything was everywhere. Party member windows were cutting into the raid window, debuffs had HUGE icons. So the point of having it all turned on while doing AV was to adjust it really.

I cannot stand having a bunch of shit on the screen. It's why I hated Alliances in FFXI. I couldn't see enough. I can only play at 800x600 on my comp though, because any better and the frame rate falls to hell and the thing gets *hot.* I've blown it up a few times, but still, it seems to still take up too much of the screen. I think I'd like things better if say, bags had "pages" to them instead of having to open all those damned windows on the screen, and I abhor how the AH window takes up the entirety of the viewspace.
I guess I just inherited my mother's OCD as far as organization goes <.<

Well I want to try for a Karazhan raid tomorrow so we shall see how it looks then. Obviously won't be nearly as bad with only two raid windows open. I definatly like the larger healthbars.
So a question for all you who have walked the path of a Warlock. Not long ago Lili was faced with a choice of a new summon out of a possible two. The Infernal or the FelHound. I chose the Infernal (cause I already have something that looks like the Hound). I did the quests involved, i went to Desolice, captured an Infernal Essence and brought it back to Ratchet. The quest completed, I got exp for it but I don't have the Infernal summon. Not to mention the Warlocks in Ratchet no longer have quests availabe. So whats the deal?
And another question for everyone reading this. Are you able to type without looking at the keyboard? I am just discovering right now that I can.

I dunno really, Aretek has his infernal, which he had to go to the Felwood and kill a giant chicken of doom, or something, only to have the Infernal turn on him later and totally wtfpwn him. (or try to) Thankfully Jan was there to wtfpwn it back. >.> He didn't summon it for a long time though, cuz he knew about the impending ass kicking. Felhound is that anti-mage demon? You get at level 30? I thought you could have both. My guess is that Lili doesn't meet the level requirement for the Infernal. There's more to it, cuz I remember him talking about El Pollo Grande (or something) and a totally whacked out Gnome warlock I saw in the Felwood. Crazy crap there. I've been able to type and not look for years now... though I occasionally have to go back and fix errors. Kinda bored with the game at the moment. Still doing some Silvermoon stuff, but I dunno how long that will last. I would still rather have an Orc Warlock rather than an Undead, but Thoanos had to have a zombie buddy to hang out with. Plus everytime I make an Orc and he sees her, he just insults her until she cries, and commits suicide... Just like my elvaan characters in FFXI! Trying the whole PvP server thing, but let's face it, I don't like PvP outside of battlefields. World PvP just seems really annoying... though from what I've seen, people tend to not give a rat's ass if you're flagged or not. I guess the whole ganking thing gets boring after a while. I may try the Fenris server, because their battlegroup seems to be in favor of Horde, for all battlefields. And not my a minor margin either... If I'm gonna do PvP battlefields, I wanna be on the winning team. It's less frustrating that way.

oh Norfy, that isnt a pet quest. Its just an item based on a pet. You get the infernal quest at 50.
Those pictures look like your resolution is tiny. What is it? 1024?
I play at 1920x1200. my god the view is amazing. Of course when I post pictures you guys always hate how it messes up the site lol.
lemme see what we got.
Ill join an AV tonight and take some shots.

1280x1024. That's the highest setting it shows so thats what i have it at. I assumed that was the highest setting the game has. I also go into PhoShop and resize it down to 740x whatever so it fits on the page and doesn't take a lifetime to load. Oh so its just the item for now. They made it sound like I get the summon rightaway. Notlike I'd use it since the Voidwalker is doing just fine until I get the FelGuard. I made some Silvermoon characters and joined that Coconutz chat you guys have. Just to see whats going on here and there with yall but I don't plan on playing those characters too much. Sindalen is a Blood Elf. By the way, you guys have your Doomhammer characters in the 50s, right? Just a few more levels and yall can hit Outland. I'm telling you, the first time you step through that portal you are greeted by one helluva scene. EDIT> Blizz is accepting beta testers for Lich King. To sign up log into your account managment on the WoW website and click the beta link on the left. If you are chosen you will be emailed. Apparantly people can create Death Knights the moment they have the expansion installed. No need for a level 55 character anymore. Not that that matters to any of us at this point

You can have the Felhunter and the Infernal. There are two ways to get the Infernal, and I only know the one way, which involves a Felwood quest with El Pollo Grande. There's a warlock near the green pond about the middle of the map, north of Jadenaar (captain vague strikes again! ). It will teach you Inferno. Oh here's the quest www.wowwiki.com/Quest:Kroshius%27_Infernal_CoreIt's really not that hard. But honestly, I find the Infernal to be no more than a trophy summon. Felguard all the way!
