Tried to go to bed. Brain said NOPE.
So I learned today: Arcane. Mage. Is. BROKEN.
I damn near soloed the so called princess of Mauradon. Granted, I got lucky. All four hits of Arcane Blast were critical. But Arcane Blast when powered up to 4 charges hits like a mack truck. I pulled hate on the second hit (though perhaps may have been her aggro reset, but regardless) and she never got to me before she died. Throw off an Arcane Barrage and BUHBAI.

I've been something of a douchecock lately as far as the static goes. I'm mostly calmed down about my grandmother now so if we want to try next week, I can play any day except Wednesday, with the exception of whatever day Ben picks because I promised him a day too. Priest looks to be even *easier* to do now. I'm on most evenings anyway doing the Halloween stuff.

I do have horde chars on silvermoon:
Sanympha, level 19 mage
Ashaudra, level 60 DK
Danaldra, level 25 warlock
I'm OK with doing the static whenever.

I can static whenever too. We should do this again sometime soon. Even with the changes I am confident in my tanking ability. I have looked over my abilities.
Glyphs are more costly than they were before. Good thing you only need to buy them once now. :/

Nah I can't play till next week like I said. Monday at the absolute earliest. I'll be on Monday night, just don't know if I can dedicate play time yet. Still lots of loose ends to tie up. But late nights are usually best for me, 10-1am.

Ok, so I can play in Ultra settings so long as I'm not PvPing. As soon as I enter a BG if my settings aren't on low my computer crashes and I am forced to hard reset which I hate doing. I think thats the term, right? Hard reset? Where you have to manually hold your power button until the machine turns off? Its a godamn pain in the ass.

Reminds me of my bad connection days. I'd have to hard reset because the game would just freeze up essentially. It wouldn't disconnect me, but I'd just be standing there with everyone running in place around me.  I'm gonna try to get Julditha to level 80 before Cata. I just need to get motivated to get up and level her. I got 21 today, but got pissed off and quit after getting a "tank" yell "I CANT TANK!" "sum1 else do it". Sheesh. I want Julditha at level 80 because I fear the Cataclysm heroics. I read that we can't expect to just AoE Burn through them like Wrath, we will be forced to CC. I have almost no experience using CC on Rogue, because I never raided, and quite frankly, never HAD to. I know Warlock only gets Fear as a CC, which is isn't advisable to use in most PvE enviroments, lest you link the entire freaking room. So, hoping I can just DPS in groups, because seriously, that's the only damn role I feel comfortable doing. I'm a shitty healer, which amazes me because I healed for so long in FFXI, and I don't know enough to tank through all these dungeons. Anyways, rant off.  |

We used to have to CC during non Heroic BC dungeons. I'm actually kinda glad we have to CC again. AoE spam isn't very fun. I had fun using Shackle Undead as Raylu when ICC first came out.
Oh and I forgot this but Warlocks get Banish as a CC as well. Its just like Sheep but only useable on Demons and Elementals.

Psst, its called a cold boot, not a hard reset...
As for warlocks, they have fear, howl of terror, banish and seduce with the succubus pet. before Burning Crusade warlocks were awesome at crowd control.
I CANT REMEMBER THE LAST TIME i saw a rogue sap a target. all these great abilities left to be ignored. God no one is going to know how to play anymore are they?
