The Thanksgiving event has started. Yes, it's happening while elementals attack, and it will probably be up when the shattering hits.
Just reminds me how much I love Thanksgiving food. >.> Mmm mmm pumpkin pah! And Turkey with Cranberry Sauce... and Sweet Potato Casserole. Thankfully I'm getting two dinners this year. XD

I will probably be switching to horde once Cata is released. I will not be playing on Doomhammer horde though, but Area 52 horde. I have hordies on Silvermoon and Area 52. I have Allies on Doomhammer and Duskwood. But, that may change, depending if Doomhammer gets a free server transfer.
Goblins are just too awesome. I may switch Julditha to a goblin as well. I've read that Haste is critical to Warlocks, because if you have extremely high haste, your DoTs get extra ticks. Goblins get a haste bonus, so it seems like a good fit. Plus, ZOMG goblins. ♥

I'm planning on playing around with a Blood Elf Warrior when the change happens though I haven't really decided on that yet.
And strictly speaking, Haste is "critical" to all classes, but you need so much of it to make any relevant difference.

That's the point, you need a TON of it. An extra 1% is a hell of a lot of haste rating at level 85. So I am seriously considering making Julditha a goblin. That way, I can have a level 80 Alliance and a level 80 Horde. Plus, the other goblin racials absolutely rock. And they are cute! I am still trying to figure out a home for my horde characters. I enjoy Area 52. It's PvE, and has a very, very large horde population which is rare for PvE servers. I have a nice guild there too that I enjoy. But, I also want to see if my servers qualify for a free transfer, so I can get my factions together on a single server. But even then, the server will probably end up with more Alliance than Horde, unless the PvP servers are able to to transfer to the same place the PvE servers can. I like Silvermoon server OK for Horde, however the Alliance population beats out Horde by quite a bit, meaning no Wintergrasp, and possibly no Tol Barad. But from what I understand Tol Barad is designed to not be so one sided. Also, there is the benefit of a larger AH selection of goods, and more people for PUGs. So, you see why I'm being so serious about population. |

They want us to explore the old world on foot or on mount. The portals are being replaced with... trainers. At least in Dalaran. This is what I figure. They have not given an official explanation of why they are being removed.
Now is a great time to level a mage!

Geezus, man! With the talent changes, world changes and all these other changes Cataclysm is looking more like a World of Warcraft 2 than it does an expansion. They did a great job with everything. Now I am super stoked for Cata. I'm playing my Shaman tonight to take in some of the new quests and stuff.

Don't forget to purchase city tabards! The tabards can be purchased from the quartermaster near each city's flight path. With the tabard you will earn reputation with that city/faction in dungeons.
I entered Stormwind and... Lament of the Highborne started playing. What the hell. XD
