Thats a bit much to read right now before work so I'll give it a looksey later. But I will say this. I have done very little dungeoning in Cataclysm but what I have seen I have been a huge fan of. The challenge has made it fun. Near the start that writer said that dungeons will only get easier as time goes by as people acquire better gear. He is very right. I look back at the start of Wrath and dungeons like Azjol-Nerub and Old Kingdom were insane hard on Normal. Never mind Heroic. But as people started getting better gear but also a better understanding of the dungeons themselves they became a lot easier. Hell, the same even happened with the ICC 5 mans. People had tier 9 when that shit came out and they were hard as fuck. And the Heroics were even worse. But as people started getting into ICC 10 and 25 and getting Tier 10 gear these 5 mans became just a walk in the park. Even Heroic Halls of Reflection which used to be a balls to the wall nightmare.

Exactly. These won't be hard forever. Our gear, and understanding of the dungeons will improve, and we will find these to be easier over time. I decided I am going to make my rogue a gnome. I don't really LIKE gnomes, but I want the best race for the job, and the job is PvP. The racials they have now are really decent for PvP. Since they took my stealth buff away from night elves, I'm just feeling sorta meh. Shadowmeld is useless in PvP. I've tried it, people aren't fooled. if anything it buys you a half a second for the person to retarget you. The extra evasion might be nice, but I still feel gnome is better overall. Escape Artist now has a 1.5 second cooldown, they now have dagger & sword expertise buff, the old engineering buff. Then of course, the high agility. Also, a smaller stature might stall the enemy from targeting me in a crowd, because we all know how well tab targeting works. The sword and dagger expertise buff is what sold me. PvP fights are gonna be face to face most of the time, so every little bit helps. Nevermind the fact that rouges are currently nailed down to having an offhanded dagger, for lack of fast axes, clubs, or swords. Of course, I dunno how I feel about garroting someone's shins, but I digress. Just gotta figure out a gnomish name. I gotta go on a pick pocketing spree in Twilight Highlands or an instance. Apparently, the lockboxes have a very slim chance of dropping blue gems and epic weapons. It's worth a shot. Also forgot to mention, our character sheets are getting a minor upgrade. It now shows our movement speed, which is great.

I was gonna say Gnomes are great cause they can be hard to target due to their size. Unless you are the only person on someone's screen the tab targeting isn't 100% reliable. I still use it but its along with mouse targeting. I don't have a preference. Just whatever feels right at the time.
I might level up a toon on SWC. Do you still have some low levels you wanna PvP with me as?

I have a huntard at level 16, who planned on doing PvP. She still needs a few items to complete her PvP armor though, namely two daggers and the PvP BoA trinket. I have a mage at level 7 too, can easily be leveled to 10. Every time I see BoA I read Bank of America. I gotta figure out a name for the gnome. It may be a few days before I do the race change, I'm really struggling with the name. I want a name that I love, not just like.

Doesn't really matter what he says, they spoiled the players with Wrath and now that the game actually offers challenge (though, even I have to admit there are some tedious parts in boss fights) the players don't know what to do. But I think they should hold to their plans to keep it hard. If they overnerf, the players will probably be happy, but then what will be the point? Each dungeon will be the same, like he said.
A good example of overnerfing would be Promyvions in XI. Make no mistake, those zones NEEDED nerfed as Norfy and I can attest, but they eventually made it so easy you didn't even need a full party. And now they don't even have level caps.
I'm happy they made the game harder and happy they altered some of the crowd control abilities (because Fear was 100% dangerous) but they need to follow through with it.

Everytime I saw Darius Crowley during the Worgen intro I always thought of that song Mr. Crowley by Ozzy. ;D

I FINALLY got to kill Kurinnaxx today. I died the first time, but the point is to kite him around the room while moving backwards, to avoid sand traps. Unfortunately, he didn't drop my beloved pink frock. www.wowhead.com/item=21499MUST HAVE! Raid resets on Tuesday, going to try again. Also, if anyone would be willing to create a DK on SWC, just so I could form up a raid group, that would be totally awesome and I would love you forever. No need to level the toon up, just need to group with your toon and convert the party to a raid.
