I think I will sleep my account. I have not been playing, and its been extra brutal on my eyes when I do play. Another factor is that you sit down to play, you look up and 6 hours has gone by. BLINK! zooom gone! I have so many other things I want to get done with my day. I started playing this game in 11/2001 so I think I have given it more than a fair shot. With my eyes the way they are, I probably wont ever make any of my goals, and IF I do make them, i wont be able to do anything with them. The social aspect is wonderful in that I get to meet up with tons of folks from all over the world, but they are all so busy doing things I cant partake in that its pointless. So, by my b/d I will be probably sleeping my account. I have gone thru the mules and gotten rid of the brass/bronze gear quadruple sets. all the leather gear quadruple sets. all the level one knives, staves, sheilds, and BS stuff that God only knows why I hung onto it. Why do I need 30 stacks of water crystals if I am not going to garden? I had boat loads of grass from the gardens, and so on. its time to fold it up. So, all mules are ready to be slept except Osiyo has a thing on AH. If it doesn sell by May 30 I will ship it to Dejibo and then sleep all mules. If all keeps going this way I will sleep Dej by the end of June.
Thank you for all that you have added to my game life. you guys are the best.

Well, I hate to see you go but I understand that you're having nasty visual issues going on. I just hope you get feeling better.
Sorry I missed you online, I've been busy busy busy with the Old Woman here. You know how that goes. She's gonna spend the night with me as far as I know.
I gotta get back on Yvon's DNC soonish. It's 66 now, just 4 more and I can fight Laila and maybe, hopefully have smooth sailing to 90.

Nothing wrong with having to take a break/quit because of health problems. And we'll be here anyway so it's not like we're leaving.
Haven't been on much thanks to work and Ben visits but next week I think I have some extra time. Now that WHM, PLD and THF are 90 I gotta get to work on some merits and magians. And Dynamis. I still wanna do Dynamis.

Thank you for the staves, and earrings Dej. I really appreciate your kindness. I will save them for whenever I do BLM or WHM on Yvondith.

That is a crazy shield. Especially useful I'd say for taru Paladin tanks who have more MP than HP. I wonder if other races like Galka would want to stack MP cause of that. Also, what is the pink AVG or AUG (can't tell) icon beside the Rare/Ex signs?

AUG. Stands for Augmented. Think of WoW's enchantments. You can get Augments from Synergy, but most of the augments come from Trial of the Magians stuff. That's why that shield has AUG on it.
A shield like that makes me think that maybe Galka PLD might be superior to the others, since they'd have a never ending supply of MP with that shield. But, I dunno how often it procs at level 90 against level 90+ mobs.

Ok I think we have a different understanding of that. The way I read it 25% of the damage is taken out of the MP pool rather than the HP pool. Are you saying that it converts that 25% damage and turns it into MP useable by the Paladin?

That Augment is fairly misleading. PLD has Shield Defense Bonus, and it is *significant.* I very commonly defend for 0-25 damage with Phalanx thanks to this trait. And it is because of this trait, though wonderful, that Reprisal is absolutely terrible. Reprisal reflects the exact damage blocked back to the enemy, and it is almost always less than 50. Exceptions of course, but this conundrum carries over to this shield's augment. Since this shield blocks nearly 100% of the time, it sounds like it would create nearly continuous MP. HOWEVER, we don't know how much damage this shield actually mitigates, but if it's an Aegis type, which it likely is, that will reduce the damage by 75%. So unless the mob is hitting you for more than 300 dmg a hit (in which case that shield's bonus MP will not last long), the MP restored will be minimal. Let's take my 0-25 dmg a hit as an example. 25% of that is 0-6. Not only that, but if this shield follows the same rules as the Ethereal Earring, then you must take at least 33 damage or the effect won't even work. Undeniably helpful, but not unlimited MP. It would've been nice if it calculated this 25% before the shield damage reduction but THAT would've been unlimited MP. Galkas will still be at a disadvantage.

Ah, thank you for clarifying, my dear taru friend.

Great success tonight. Got a Raider's seal and a Creed seal and an Attack +10 earring that I can't use but hey, I'll hang on to it. This new endgame is actually much more accessible than before. But that comes at the expense of difficulty. Mark and I could probably duo some of these NMs. We were trying for these wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/wiki/Raider%27s_Armlets_%2B1And didn't get close, but hey, I'm closer than I was before, I'll take it. Now MadamE taru needs to get 90 already!

Yes sir. I might have been 67+ but I didn't have any luck getting a group before I was ready to conk out.
If anyone sees a Federation Aketon for sale for 200K or less, please buy it and let me pay you back. I only found one last night, and the retard wanted 400k for it. Yeah, right! I did get a Kingdom Aketon for 100k though, so I did at least get that. The Republic can DIAF.

aketons can be gotten with conquest points. Most of Walking wounded are all above level 10 and would be happy to get one for you when that city is in first place. If Yue is level 10 then he can get you one for the city of your choice when its in first place.
I slept all of my mules. I cleaned out their pockets and slept them. I had a massive headache afterwards, so it will be a few days at least before I attempt to play with dejibo.
