Haven't really accomplished too much since I beat that asshole Shinryu. Black mage is 95 and thief will be next. Lots of atma I still need to do and am enjoying doing CoP fights again. Even cheaters like Tenzen... Captain one shot HO.
Otherwise been doing lots of Voidwalker with AD. This is an event that endgame should have been. Get to fight hard bosses with amazing loot... If it drops. I'd say that's my only complaint about it. You could do the fights hundreds of times and not see the drop you are looking for. That needs adjusted in the worst way. But balancing the game so all jobs are wanted in an event has never been done before, so I respect the effort if nothing else by the developers.
I think the 99 update is tomorrow. Though I may be wrong, everyone in my LS won't stop chirping about it.

Yes, level 99 cap should be tomorrow. There is an all worlds maintenance tomorrow, and they said that the update would be mid December, so sounds about right.

Got THF to 99 and put two points into the new Dagger WS, Extenerator. It's...not bad. It's not good, Evisceration still blows it away, but it gives Dancing Edge a run. It will undoubtedly be better than both outside of Abyssea at 5 points, no question, which is good because a lot of the WSs are not getting good reviews on message boards.
When I SA+Assassin's Charge, it does 2.2k outside of Abyssea. DE does about 500 more than that right now, but DE is also an extra hit, so it's pretty comparable. Overall pretty pleased with that.

Gotta pester a goblin repeatedly until he gives you a present (who casts gravity and bind on you repeatedly), and then avoid the wandering goblins while you go back to the moogle, then to the owner of the present, and then to who the present is for. If the goblins get close enough, they take the present back, and thus the process starts all over again. Might not be as bad in other countries, but in Windurst Waters, I was repeatedly pincered by goblins on the bridges. I'm so freaking happy for those pants. It's silly, but the santa outfit is pretty much complete now. Gloves, maybe?

Do they add a new addition the Santa suit every year or something? Seems that way. I remember at first all we had was a hat. Next year or the year after or something they gave us the vest. Now pants, eh?
I kinda like the new interface. The chat log is way nicer looking than before. I don't see a reason why it ever had to take up half the screen like before. As for the new macros, I don't see why they need to be bigger myself. I think it should be just an option. Whatever suits the player best I suppose.
I'm glad you guys are playing this. I may not play but I do read this forum and check all the new posts to see whats going on in the game. I enjoy your screens and stuff ;D

I've gotten nothing but holiday things accomplished in the game this week. Just messing around. I've camped the NMs in Oztroja, did some Elite Training and augmented some items, and of course, the event. There is a TON of stuff to get during this event, gotta get em all. ♥ The cat's choco became an adolescent today. Yeller. Figures. Ah well. I will hug him and pet him and squeeze him. And perhaps call him George.
