Oh yeah. Keep the clothes. I went down a size in pants and was so happy to fit into my old slacks. That was a good feeling. I also had to cut two new holes into my belt because it was too big. Bryce thinks i need a new one but i like this one. and i can see progress with it!
the worst part is most of my weight is in my gut. ugh its ugly. but i have noticed a slight decrease and my shirts are not as tight anymore. it does help that bryce and i are doing this together though. it would be so much harder by myself.
we should start a weight loss thread to see each others progress. kind of like a support system! hmm thats a good idea actuall. i may do that when i get home.

HFCS is the devil! high fructose corn syrup tricks your pancrease into thinking you have loads more calories than you do, and when it figures it out, it pours on the hunger to make up for the missing bulk it expected. PLEASE! stay away from pop, soda, cola, or whatever name you wish to put on it. There is only ONE exception. There is a pepsi throwback out right now, its made with REAL SUGAR! and very low sodium. On soda, its not the calories, it the sodium that does a number on you. Dont be fooled by calorie free stuff. Splenda/aspertame/and the like all pull the same trick that HFCS does. If you must pick sugar free, go for Stevia/Truvia stuff, at least its from a real source. not a chemically manipulated peice of crap. Even a tiny bit of exercise goes further than you can imagine, and you NEED fat to lose fat. Have some (not a huge blob) in your diet. Avacado, or a lil mayo, or real butter. without fat, your body thinks you are starving, and will shut off the calorie burners. Your scale will lock up tight. Im just so proud of you guys!

yea! go steph! now, the trick about exercise is to GET UP! feel good, or not, GET UP! sunny day? go for a walk! rainy day? go for a walk! hurricane? go for a walk! Tornado force winds? GO FOR A WALK! Losing the weight will help your joints feel better, and the exercise will cause them to be better lubricated. Im so proud of you!

Sorry, Dej. There is something wrong with what you said there. If there is a Hurricane or tornado you shouldn't be walking you should be running. Its better excercise and you can use the weather as a motivator. ;D

I seem to be hovering now with my weight again. I hit 297 but it wont go lower. On the good news even though it keeps fluctuating just a tiny bit it no longer goes over the 300 mark. I am officially under 300 pounds!
Of course then Bryce points out to me this morning that he lost 40 pounds. Ass.

I've been gaining. But thankfuly its been super slow. My cousin is visiting from out of town ( as I have mentioned) and we've been going out and eating and stuff. We went to a place called New Asian Village where they have an Indian food buffet. Its sooooo good. If you like spicy foods. I personally love spicy foods but don't find the food there to be that spicy. I think its pretty mild. But my cousin says its insane spicy. It causes her to sweat and pant and to me the food is very mild. Its funny how certain people can handle certain amounts of spicyness. In any case, some fo the food is pretty healthy, like the chic pea masala but then there are things like the butter chicken which are fattening as hell. And its a buffet so I always eat like crazy there. Not to mention my beer consumption went up again. Just for the time being though.

So I finished Wizard's First Rule here, Kik. It was pretty damn good. The first half of the book was kinda boring I found but the second half was amazing. I started the second book, Stone of Tears now. I am 19 chapters into that. Much better than the TV show. But I still enjoy that, just not as much as what I have read in the books.

As for losing weight, when you hit a plateau, ADD FAT! you need fat to lose weight. Eat an avacado, or add some mayo to your sandwhich. not half the jar, just add some simple fat to your diet, and that should tip you back over the edge. If you are not getting enough fats, your body goes into starvation mode, and shuts down the metabolism. Switch up your execise routine, and do cardio today, and strength tomorrow, and take a rest on the third day by simple walking.
Me? meh, dont feel good. Spend some time in the hospital, at the big girl place, and am not happy! I have been doing IV steroids, and they PISS ME OFF! make dejibo rage! so...life marches on. this too shall pass, there are more fish in the sea, and so forth.

Kikaro, Dejibo, I friend requested you on FB. Kikaro, I'll add you on twitter too! I like both FB and Twitter. I think I like Twitter more than FB, but I use FB a lot more now cause there's so many people I know there. Anyway, college is going good. I did fine on the midterms and now I'm moving toward May. I graduate from college in May. Then, I'll have my Bachelors. I wish I could be more excited about it. Everyone else is pretty excited, but I'm not. I like college and I'm not looking forward to the whole "hunt for a job" thing. Ugh. So, ya, not that excited. Sure, its cool that I'm graduating, but I'm not thrilled or anything. Right now, I'm just trying to focus on graduating. I know I should be looking for something already, but I just want to focus on getting through with college before getting to the part I'm not looking forward to. lol. On a more postive note, I wrote a story for my Advanced Fiction class. Its the first of two short stories I'm supposed to write in that class. Over the weekend, my teacher said on FB (yes, my teacher is on Facebook), that my story "made his weekend". That was good to hear. I'm interested in hearing what everyone in the class (including the teacher) thinks about the story. They will be talking about it tonight! *gulp* Actually, I'm sort of looking forward to it. Though, I'm also kind of nervous. lol. Anyway, I hope everyone is doing good. Talk to you soon! DF2506

I have lost 35 pounds. I wore my old pair of jeans today when I went to the park to take pictures... Yeah I had to wear a belt with them. Never had to before. But I went to walk out the door and they just slid right off. I mean it was awesome and terrifying at the same time. Thank god no one saw me. So YAY! I am seeing results!
