helping someone with a rank mission, when we were done, I was invited to go further into the kings tomb area or ranperre. I saw all kinds of crazy stuff, but then..Vrta! OMG it was MASSIVE! Level 95 highly notorious monster. Woah! One member a level 85 DNC and a 85 NIN decided to smack it. I was invis and sneak, and it saw thru my stuff and ATE ME with ONE bite! ouch! In all the years I have been playing this was my first HNM. Too cool!  |

OMG I wanted to pull a stephanie and start screaming at stupid folks in the last few days. I am quite close to rank 10, but the team that I have been following are STUPID! They take a 30 minute event and make it last 3 hours! Im dying from stupidity here. I made the announcement to them that I simply visually cannot keep up, and they should go on without me. A few high levels and I QUIETLY started out to do my sections. Go to question mark and click. no fight, just click. We left a full 2 hours after the others and should have been well behind them. Step one go to Volbow OP and then go to J8...well, we get there to find one of the other team sitting at the OP. he sees us and /waves. his buddy didnt have the OP warp and was dead in kuftal tunnel. My WHM friend went out and raised him. Then we got peppered with a 'what you doing' stuff. They shadowed us and didnt use sneak, or invis and got killed ALOT! We got my question marks done and then my party went back and dragged them thru. They thanked us and ran off. We took a break hoping they would get ahead. Next spot again, we find them dead. it was awful! We ended up putting them in our party just to save time, and hassle, but SHIT!
so, I just need 9-2. then I will be rank 10 in Sandy. I also finished the selbina clay mission. I got the map long ago, but decided to get the last two hard ones, and finally got it finished. Whooo! go me!

There are some things I miss about this game yet some things I'm glad I'll never have to deal with again. Today I caught myself humming the Windurst song at work so now I am listening to it on Youtube. I wonder if you could do private servers with FFXI. I've seen some people do private servers with WoW and they were able to buy their Tier gear for 1 copper a pop. I'd do that with the AF and just goof around.  |

I tried private servers once before on FF but they didn't work. The play online was the problem. WoW servers are a lot easier to create.

Hell, you get free tier gear if you download the PTR and play during testing. Patch 4.0.3a is out on the PTR right now, the shattering. Download it and make a premade toon. As for FFXI, I'd be all over home, single player version. I'd finally get to get AF for all the classes, and for all the races, etc. |

Rumors have been flying about an offline version for years. Honestly, I think they should've jumped on that chance a couple years ago because we all know it'd sell. Now...I'm afraid FFXIV and the not-so-graceful aging of XI will prevent a decent profit on it...and we all know SE's all about the bucks.

The February update will bring a dramatic increase in EXP in areas outside of Abyssea, and the fields of Valor book will no longer has a 24 hour clock on it. you can do page after page if you want. Love it!

He doesn't know yet, is what he told me. Caller and Masaia may return to FFXI. But don't get excited yet, they don't know. If they return, I will as well on a new account, as a human named Yvondith, probably. Unless I can think of a kick ass taru name before then. |

Possible, but not probable. What I enjoyed about the game slowly eroded over time. I liked tanking and healing more than DPS (which is how I always, well, roll) and the 6 man group has all but died these days. But since they're doubling exp and skillup gains and removing the Fields of Valor restrictions...I DID like Beastmaster. I just hated making all that food. Money drain. FAST money drain. I'm not saying no. I'm just saying I don't know. |

you are welcome to join my LS group, and we have several really good cooks, and loads of crafters that make wonderful stuff if you want it. Just let me know and I will sign on and give you the new pearl. its a pretty blue color.
I am still not playing like I used to because of all the visual stuff going on in my world, but do sign on now and again. Let me know if I can help.
