It's in the port district. there's an old man inside a tent that sells them, near the map vendor, and the dunes region vendor.
Or in Windurst, they are sold in Heaven's Tower, inside the "office" area.
I bought the steam version, it's still downloading. Until then, it's naptime. It's @33% now.

Yeah, I just remembered that last night and felt like a total dumbass.  That's why I went ahead and said fuck it and decided on a new account. I want a freaking taru anyways. Tarutaru ftw. I guess I'm going to name miss taru Yvondith as well. It isn't a taru name, but I like my name. Yvondith is my new universal moniker. And I plan on being a tree hugging Windurstian hippie too. I feel patriotism towards Windurst, and only Windurst. >.> |

I don't see me logging in anytime soon, my ISP is being slow for some unknown reason. I blame Tim. I still have to actually update the game too, I think. Also, YEAH WINDURST! San'd Oria can burn in righteous fire. |

The Steam download did not work. I waited until 11:30 for it to finish, then it tries to update POL, and fails repeatedly.
I'm just gonna uninstall for now, and reinstall with my game disks. -.-

You may need to open all the configs too to configure them. Sounds stupid but do it anyway. If you don't use the Steam version, you're not going to get the 30 days free. What is the failure message?

I uninstalled and reinstalled and it works now. Not really sure what the problem was.
Updating the game now. If I can't get the game updated by the time I have to leave today you may have to buy another gold world pass.
Did it say how long the gold world pass would last? I should be back Monday I think.

Managed to get some time to play tonight. Soloing is a LOT easier with these exp changes and the ability to repeat Fields of Valor regimes. I got 12k exp in about 2hours, which doesn't sound all that hot, I guess, but I soloed it, without my NPC, as a lv60 NIN/DNC.
...also Haubergeons are 50k. <.<
