Yeah read that. DRK is as lol-worthy as ever and I'm NOT liking RNG's updates unless it plays a lot like THF, because if so, I can duo/trio it better. I really want to play that job "normally" as long as I can. It's one of my favorites.

Not terribly excited about that when I realize it very likely requires you finish the entirety of the WotG missions, including the end game area. Like Alexander and Odin before them, you can't summon Alexander until you finish WotG, and you can't summon Odin until you meet him in Einherjar. And they were kinda underwhelming when you consider you can only summon them while Astral Flow is up.

Yeah, but those were created when the cap was level 75. We're looking at a level 99 cap now, things are much, much easier.
Dunno when the level 95 cap will hit, I'm guessing sometime next month.

Got NIN from 34-44 in one sitting. That is how awesome our trio is with Grounds of Valor. Some JP Corsair joined us, and we really kicked ass then. That seems to be how parties go now. I am sure Fields of Valor EXP parties exist in the dunes now, but the game as we used to know it is gone forever. People just sorta show up in the Grounds of Valor hotspots, and just ask to join any players already there. Just... Hi, please invite me. Just need level 45 and I will have another support job for DNC, and it will make me even more invincible. Especially that I actually have Utsusemi: Ni this time. I swear today was the first time in eight years that I have cast that spell. Still sells for a cool million gil though. Bought two Astral Rings today for 40k each. My SMN is complete for level 15 now, and I can have the Carbuncle Mitts soon as well. Soon as the item I need drops. However, due to today's expenditures, buying 99 of each Ninjutsu tool I needed, a damp scroll for the Jubaku quest, and two Astral Rings, I dropped about 250k. No matter. I have 150k Cruor to spend to replenish my funds. I need to farm the elemental Ninjutsu scrolls now though. I am a little gimp. Probably gonna take Ninja to 45-49 and quit until I catch up on my spells, and un-gimp my Ninjutsu skill. I think I wanna take Ninja to 90. I swear if I had known I would be melee this time around I would have made another Mithra or Elvaan. But, my little girl is precious and I love her no matter what job she is.  |

When you transfer, choose UltimateBuy. I don't remember what I chose when I set my account up with FFXIV, but I had none of the problems these guys are describing and so I think I chose UB. Either way, looks like Click and Buy has a very nasty reputation for stealing money, and will make the game cost about 4% more a month because they have a service charge. forum.square-enix.com/ffxi/threads/12120-Petition-clickandbuy-the-only-way-no-thanks./page4EDIT Evidently I chose Click and Buy back in the day, but I haven't had any problem with them at all, none. I dunno, maybe I'm lucky for once? And that 4% service fee? It's 50-60 cents. I'll live. |

Okay so here is the deal with me. I am really not interested in playing the game alone right now. I will login to check my chocobo, but that is about it. However, I still enjoy doing stuff with you guys. If you want me to join you in a duo, a trio, help you with a quest, do missions, or whatever, all you need to do is contact me. I will be on AIM if I am available for stuff under the user name of Saekeion. If you want me to use another IM client that is fine, just tell me which one. I am up for just about anything, so feel free to ask me to join in. Otherwise, if you guys are not online or doing anything, I probably will not be online. Sorry. Just not very interested in playing alone right now. Though, I will soon, I need to skill up. Not right now though. Right now, I need a NAP! It's like 95°F here, and I just spent a few hours outdoors. Need to cool off. |
