I already had a Square Enix member account because of FFXIV, and I had already linked it to my POL ID about a month ago, so I'm thinking because of that, I had zero troubles. But given that quote box up there, it seems like it'll be as simple as waiting for the payment to clear. They don't process everyone's payment on the same day, they do it over a week. Wait til you get the "your payment has been billed" message on POL and try after that. Note, however, that some people are reporting inability to login while the transfer is taking place.
And, again, I told you before I came back I will not make a career out of this, and, again, I mostly log in only during the evenings because I have work. Since I'm a supervisor now, that means I have full time hours, which means I don't really have a lot of time like I used to. This is why I don't log in much.
I thought you were leveling NIN so we could do the Rank 10 mission though.

I think you misunderstood the intention of my post. I'm not complaining about how often you login. I understand you have a job, and work and real life are more important than any game. Ever since I started playing Morrowind, I'm playing it more often that FFXI. However, just because I'm not logged in doesn't mean I don't wanna play. If you and Mark wanna do something, I'd love to come along if I'm invited. That was what my post was about. Just a way of saying "Please contact me if you guys want to do something together". I just don't have any solo activities I want to do in the game right now. I gotta get Ninja to 49, but I'd rather level it when you two are leveling other jobs. It's much more fun in a duo or trio. But like I said before, yeah I gotta get off my butt sometime soon. I have Ninjutsu to cap up until level 49, and I need to cap my evasion and dagger. Just in a "I don't wanna" sort of mood about that right now.  |

I'm able to do the transfer now, but I only have two payment options. Click and Buy, or paying with Crysta. I thought there was another one?

I still haven't tried it but form what I read those are the only two options for now unless your a JP player.

They're working on it. Apparently I did use Click and Buy but I've had absolutely no problems. And if I, with my luck, am able to have no problems, I think everyone is safe.

Well, thanks to Master Card's security measures, I might be banned from using Click and Buy. I couldn't remember my secure code, nor did I remember the last 4 digits of her SSN, and I got a message essentially saying I was banned from ALL online purchases. So I gotta call and clear it up, or get a new card number. Jesus.
I think I'm just ready to quit the game. This account transfer shit has got me so irritated with the game that I don't wanna even look at it. I have enough stress on my plate right now, I don't want to be forced to jump through flaming hoops just to play a fucking game.

*Everything* will lock you out if you forget your passwords enough times, not just this thing. It's for your security and you should be grateful for it, there's a reason my bank account wasn't drained when I was hacked.
We get this pretty much every day at work. People somehow forget their PINs all the time and then get pissed when we won't accept it after 3 failed attempts.

Sorry for all the ARGH RAGE in the previous post. We may have to be issued a new card, though it says I can re-enroll in the service, but I had no luck with that either. However, I am still pissed that Click and Buy wants to charge me $2.50 |

Wait 24 hours, that usually resets the security checks. I don't remember paying $2.50, I do remember paying Visa a buck to validate my account, but you get that money back after it clears. I don't really know why they do this, maybe they're of the mindset that people who have stolen a card won't pay a single dollar to validate it. Who knows?
We may be on tonight if Portal 2 doesn't steal my soul again.

I re-read, the $2.50 is to validate and I get it back. I tried again, still failed. Mastercard wants me to re-enroll in the security service, but it's saying my card number is incorrect. Probably just going to get a new card issued. |

I am going to temporarily quit FFXI.
I am moving this month, and money is going to be scarce. I won't have time to play either, I'm starting the packing process tomorrow.
I'm sorry, I know Ryan wanted to complete missions and other things, but I just have to do this. After I move, it might be a while before I have internet anyway.
This will be temporarily, I will reactivate my account once I move and get settled in, and get a new credit card, since I'm still locked out of the account transfer.
Again, I'm sorry. Just a whole lot of stuff going on right now.
