Been busy in XI. I got SCH and SAM to AF and Mark went and cheated and got SAM to nearly 90 without me! Harumph.
SAM/RNG could not be any more broken.
They released a new test server today, which is only 9 years late. But SE seems to be totally invested in making this game all about the players these days. They actually WANT our feedback and that has not happened since....Blue Mage?

Now with SCH and SAM at 90 I gotta hunker down and pick a goddamn job already. <.< And I think SCH's 3k dmg Aero V did that for me.  Granted, I cheated since it was in Abyssea, but hot DAMN that was awesome! Mage gear is ridiculously expensive but I can afford almost all of it if I sell all my cruor, and the good news is that RDM and BLM can use almost all of it. Mostly BLM, but RDM isn't my nuker, it's my enfeebler and it's damn good at it. Mark and I are able to duo the mobs in Dynamis with very little trouble at all...until the jerkwad gets charmed and beats the ever loving shit outta me. ...oh yes. That happened. |

I think it was a poor choice on my part to come back. I still have no desire to play. Just cleaning the junk out of my inventory right now.

At some point I hope to get my skills high enough so he and I can duo a good bit of the missions and we can always go back and do them later. ZMs should be rather simple until Kammy and Earl and so far the CoPs have been a cakewalk. It just takes some work before we can do it without help.

DNC and THF along with NIN are the three most survivable jobs in the game with capped Evasion and weapons. DNC especially because of its obscenely overpowered flourishes. PLD is up there too but its MP kinda limits it. ...well, not MINE, but, still. I should get NIN to 90 too, I guess. I want to have all the survival/outlaster jobs up in case I'd need them. I also really really want BLU up because it's one of the most sought after Abyssea jobs, but I still need sea access to learn all the spells. It'll be tedious to learn them, for certain, but I'll still love the hell outta it once it's done. |

They raised the cap to 95 today. I already have the quest done because I got lucky, but I haven't exp'd yet. Everyone and their mother is out there doing that and there are tons and tons of aby parties and no mobs left to fight. So, I'll wait! |

Mark and I got a shitton of Relic gear tonight in Dynamis, and he finished DNC and NIN Empyrian gloves and I finished THF's...finally.
With his NIN and my THF we're completely invincible. ...well except against mages.

Problem with that one is that Simugh has 90% hit rate. Kinda doesn't work for an evasion build. Someday. |
