Hey, Steph, are you gonna play the new Tomb Raider? I've never played a Tomb Raider game in my life and I wouldn't mind trying this new one. I know you said you were a fan of the series.

Wow I haven't posted in a while <_<
I play Diablo 3 pretty regularly. It's basically my farming game until PSO2 comes out. When it does, I'm probably going to drop it like a lead balloon.
Masaia#1634 is my battletag. All my chars are 60 already but feel free to harass me if you want. I've played monk, wizard, and demon hunter so I can answer questions best about those classes.
I've been hopping between lots of games lately. I've played the crap out of the new Fire Emblem game. It was definitely worth getting a 3DS for. I'll have to look up the other 3DS games I'd like to play. Should get Mario Kart so I can beat caller over and over in it. I also got a Vita way back at Xmas that I just got about $250 worth of games for $60. I signed up for the PS+ program. Lets you get free (older) games from time to time. So if you're not in a hurry to get a game ASAP, its a good program to get discounts. Only bad part is you have to pay $50 for it a year. Since I already got my money's worth and more, that doesn't bother me one bit!
Is PSO2 out yet? No? Pah

Yeah, I am Norf, as soon as I can get the money to buy it. I've got so many other projects going on right now that I can't afford it.
I was looking at one of the articles square-enix posted that listed all the Tomb Raider games, and it dawned on me, holy shit, I'm a fan girl, cuz I had all of them, or multiple copies of them. Damn. XD
It's actually a really fun series, if you like action games. I just hope the storyline improved after the last game. o.o

Yeah I wouldn't mind checking it out. I've never played a Tomb Raider game and I've heard they are good on the puzzles. I like puzzles. I used to avoid the series cause I thought it was one of those "boobs + sex = money" kinda games, but I've played enough games now that have boobies and secks that it doesn't matter now.
So with this new computer I've been having problems with HD space. I could only fit two, maybe three, games on it at a time and it was frustrating. So I asked the people at the place I bought it from and they informed me I have a second hard drive with a full terabyte on it which is where I'm supposed to install all my games. The C drive is just supposed to be for the OS and the odd random thing I want to download or install like music or whatever else. DUUUUUUR! Thats what you get for not being computer savy. Took me a while to figure out how to access the damn secondary HDD but I got it working the way its meant too. Heh heh.....*cough*

Yes Lara dresses like a whore, but her sexuality is not focused on the slightest bit in the story line, you only see it in the bonus costumes. Give *any* of the games a shot, you'll be surprised.

The entire series is on Steam anyway. If I like the new one maybe I'll give the older ones a go.

The entire series is on Steam anyway. If I like the new one maybe I'll give the older ones a go. The new one looks really good. Lesse... Tomb Raider 1 itself is good, and the remake, Anniversary was fantastic. 2, is a great game. 3, is my favorite out of the numbered games. The Last Revelation is very very good, but difficult. It's Egyptian styled, and might be my favorite overall. Chronicles was released after this. It's a shorter game, and was a little weird. There are several level sections, one of which Lara is a child, and unarmed. Now, "5", or Angel of Darkness is a curious game. It was the first one released for PS2, however, it's extremely buggy... at least the PS2 version was. You don't just play as Lara, there's a second character named Curtis you play as also. It was the oddball of the series, and probably the least liked according to the fanbase. I liked it though, but *I'm* an oddball. 6 was Legacy, and was very good, however this is where the storyline starts getting goofy as all fuck. Very good game though, and I highly recommend this. You get to play with the Excalibur in this game, and it is suweeet. 7, I guess would be considered Anniversary, the remake of the first game. Very, very good. Underworld was the first Tomb Raider for the next gen consoles, and this is where the storyline officially turns to shit. In my opinion. However the gameplay is still awesome. Zombie vikings are badass mofos. And you get Mjolnir. After this, there was some other weird releases I didn't keep up with. Also, in between the other games there was some DS games, game boy games, etc. Who knows. But that's the main list.

So is this new one also a remake then? Thats what I've gathered but everything I read doesn't state it clearly.

Trying to download a demo of Kingdoms of Amalur but Steam has never played demos properly for me and Origin won't even load a demo page. I want to try.

May let you borrow my steam account then since I'm playing WoW mostly. We'll have to coordinate though, since Steam freaks out if you login from another computer or browser, I'll have to give you a code.

Origin is working now. They have a deal on the game actually. Get the whole game for free for 48 hours, and if you like it, you get to buy it after that and keep your save for 50% off.. Giving it a try now.
