Like I said, give it time. its a new game so its bound to be laggy. Lots of online games are like that when they first start out. Especially if what you say about it being similar to an MMO is true. World of Warcraft, right now, is going through a lot of stuff. With an expansion coming out and people are excited for it. So there are more people than usual online. And that causes big time lag. Once the the expansion is released and out for a while that game will slow down on lag as well. I'm sure the same can be said for LBP. I highly doubt these problems will last. I mean, its not like its on the Wii. I found some stuff everyoen can enjoy. This guy has some pretty good remixes of some video game songs. They can range from metal remixes to jazzy remixes. He's pretty talanted. www.ocremix.org/remixer/amievil/

Well, its not just lag. They actually pulled down the whole server for awhile. Its back up now, but they've stated that they'll probably take it down again soon.
Also its not like this is the actual first week. Whats was the beta for? Wasn't that to make sure stuff like this doesn't happen?
Plus the game has been running worse than the beta...
MM has definitely broken promises. First with the release date and now with the servers. Back during the beta, they said the actual game worked better than the beta...untrue!
Its also wonder if we'll get the free spacesuit and tshirt for Sackboy this week.....
Anyway, dont get me wrong. Its love the game. Thats why I hate that its having so many issues...
Now, last night Its got to play it some online. Played some user created levels, edited my own, and published a new version of SackWulf. Later, Its started having problems with things running slow so I had to quit.
LBP is a good game. Its should be a great game though.

I honestly wondered if they were prepared for the amount of people who would be playing this online. I still cant because Game stop still doesn't have a copy for me.
bastards.
The Beta was indeed to test the servers, but its still a limited beta. They never officially opened it to anyone and everyone. If they had done so, they might have been a bit more prepared for the heavy traffic.
I dont know what kind of problems you are seeing as I cant play, but I figure a week or two should be enough to get this sorted out.
Im ok with online being borked for a bit, it will give me time to build my new level. Its build out of cardboard boxes and is very platform heavy. Think mega man platforming. Oh I cant wait.

I cant remember the last time I got a triple post.
Little Big Planet is freaking awesome!
DF and I have been playing together a lot. He helped me get the Ninja costume! I also got a turban and some robes or something. I look like Apu in full hundu garb.
I have also begun work on my masterpiece. so far the tower is complete. Now I need to build the cogs of death, and move towards the bridge of terror.
DF, you shall be testing this with me soon. I hope you are ready.
I am calling it Dreamscapes. Right now that is a title that fits. Its going to be a dream sequence that slowly turns into a nightmare. The concept is there, lets just hope the execution is.

Do you have a PS3 Dej?
Its basically a side scrolling 2.5D platformer with these adorable sackboy characters that you can dress up. Sounds silly I know, but you can also find tons and tons of items to use to create your own levels of Doom.
Someone somehow managed to make a level where you rode a car and as teh car moved the theme of Final Fantasy 6 (terra's Theme) played. He did it all with these little items that make a pitched sound. It was pretty sweet. I would never have the ptients to tune that and get it going.

Pretty much beat Star Ocean and now in the depths of the hidden dungeon. I must have been underleveled for the longest time, cuz every time I went into battle... "THIS IS TOUGH" even though I would pretty much rape every single enemy on the screen. Roddik (ratix, w'ever) is freaking broken. High defense, high attack, good avoid and agility. I have only seen him die when I went into the Mt. Meteorx dungeon a bit early. Well, that and when I summoned Gabriele... <_< Got my ass kicked.
Game was fun, but really short and easy. Though I'm sure the other difficulties will make it more challenging.

See! I told Caller Roddick was absurdly broken, but I don't think be believed me. Roddick has got to be the all time best hero of that series, he's absurdly strong. Claude was close, and Fayt... god he just sucked. I stopped, but I'm very close to the ending. I need to do a final run of Private Actions to see if there are any remaining, and then I'll finish the game. I'm over leveled though, Roddick is level 115 because I putz around and fought the music induced battles. Then I gotta do that hidden dungeon, and fight Gabriella, or w/e... I wanna kill her in this, and then I wanna kill her in Star Ocean 2 before I get it on PSP.

You really need a better computer. Those graphcis are terrible! ;D
I played more Little Big Planet last night. I scrapped my level and started over. So far the entrance area is almost complete. Im playing with lighting to make the clouds glow more. And the beginning level of the castle is laid out. Still need more decorations. There are items I want that I can only get via x2 areas on some of the levels. DF, we have work to do.
my world starts you out in the clouds, its supposed to be kind of dream like. I chose oddly sounding music and everything is white. As you approac the castle, things start the alter. More colors come into play. And what should happen, as you climb your way through the castle, is it gets darker and more evil. I thought it would be cool to do kind of a castlevania type castle. Its not going to be large really, but it is fun.

Oh I know they suck, they're on the lowest possible settings because my comp does not appreciate this game one little bit. It could play FFXI that used high end bloom with threading and lighting and it can't handle this. Go figure. I still only get about 10 FPS too.
Those pictures are taken in and near The Old Forest in Bree-land. The Old Forest is near the beginning of The Fellowship of the Ring and it's exactly in the same location in the game. I really love the attention to detail in this game.
I still need to pickup and finish SO3 but I just don't see it happening.

So I found out I can give my hobbit a surname now...only now I gotta think of one. >.> I made him a Fallohide so I was playing around with naming him Took but I also read hobbit surnames also tend to describe themselves, and as a hunter I was thinking something along the lines of Fletcher. But Rhindas Fletcher sounds kinda meh. <.<
I think I finished almost all the quests in the Shire because I can't find a dungeon I need to continue the story and there really isn't a treasure trove of info out on the internet yet. Oi. -.-b
