Thats the good thing about PS3 it seems. When it gets a 360 game it gets some additional stuff. I think the last game to do that was BioShock i think.

So about Fable 2, I am interested in the game but do you have to have played the first game to get the story or is it its own story? Cause I do want to play but I missed out on Fable 1 and I don't feel like playing that just to get Fable 2. If that is the case I'll just pass on Fable 2.

Got LittleBigPlanet yesterday!

The online servers are not up yet, so I've been playing story mode a lot. MMs level design is amazing!
Oh and the levels get harder and harder as you go!

I'll buy it in two weeks from now. I got payed but the money had to go to living fees. Food, electric etc. next pay check will be 50/50 on play money and paying off my Vegas trip. Hope to see you kids online soon

i never finished fable 1 so its not required by any means.

DF im gonna get my LPB soon. When the online is up we will have a blast. Ill make a new level for us to explore and hey we can build together too!!!!

From what I read of the previews and reviews of that game I don't expect many people will be getting Wii Music.

It's 2008 Nintendo. MIDIs are beyond antiquated.

I started up LOTRO with Caller a few days ago. It's OK, I like the character creation quite a bit. However, I don't see me playing it past my 10 day trial. It hasn't really grabbed me like FFXI or WoW did. I may just give up on MMOs completely soon, depending on how WotLK turns out for WoW. I'm starting to get bored with that game as well. May just be a phase, but I dunno.

Also still playing Star Ocean: First Departure. Really enjoying it. I've overpowered my group, I got carried away with the music induced battles, and now I'm almost level 70 thanks to it.

I was joking about the Wii Music thing. That thing is an abomonation and its actually a bit insulting that they released it. Its like Nintendo abandoned their core audiance with it. I wouldn't normally feel this way. If they would have just released it without any sort of huge E3 coverage it would be easily forgettable. Buit since it was their BIG E3 announcment of the year it really makes you wonder if the company is starting to slip.

Steph, MMOs are fun, as I'm sure you know, but if you quit them entirly you will be giving yourself loads of time to do other stuff. As much as I love having my friends on WoW, quitting the genre alltogether is probably a good thing. Other than draining your wallet monthly these are also huge time guzzlers.

But with all this said I hope you stay....for my sake

I tried giving up MMO's. Look at me now.

I am playing both Vanguard and WoW. WoW I was trying to get Hortario and Almuhan to 70 before WOTLK. I might be able to get one to 70. But I dont feel like grinding that much.

Im getting LBP today, I actually have enough money now to get it. Thought I wasnt going to be able to.

Star Ocean 1 is a pretty fun game. I get hurled into it and BAM it's 3 hours later. Maybe it's just cuz I'm used to getting slaughtered in the higher difficulties in the other two games. Roddik seems to kill everything he comes in contact with. Especially with Dragon's Roar...

Now I didn't get the arena. I ran through all the way to rank B with no problem, THEN ALLUVA SUDDEN a giant hell bird swoops down and eats me. How rude!

Did you come across the OMGWTFQUEEN mob yet? When I saw the Ethereal Queen clone mob I totally freaked out, expecting it to mop the floor with me. I need to try the area again, I haven't since I first came to Tatroi.

I did the Old Race Ruins dungeon earlier today. Sad scenes for Ioshua in there, and a movie. The Boss there was a hell of a lot harder than the enemies in the dungeon, I kinda freaked out at first, because people started doing their pre-death squeals within the first 3 seconds of the fight.

I got Welch earlier... god what a pain in the ass. She's completely obnoxious, and constantly wants to pick a fight with Ilia... the fights are entertaining though. I haven't used her in battle yet, just seeing her in PAs is annoying enough. I still haven't used Pericci either.

I gotta admit, this game has some of the best PAs I've ever seen. Some are ROFL funny.

Good news: Got my Gamestop preorder LittleBigPlanet downloads today. Cool God of War costumes!

Bad News: The LBP online is up.

You would think that would be good news...but its not.

Today, LBP online was so glitchy that you really couldnt edit a level and you were very lucky if you could even
play story mode...

I did manage early on to play a little online and download my beta levels that I published but thats it.

LBP online is so messed up. The beta was better than this!

It hope they fix these issues. LBP is such a cool game and it deserves better. *SIGH*

Theres probably a simple answer to this. LittleBig Planet is a new game so there are tons of people swarming online to play. Since its open to the public now its more likely to be busier than when the beta was up. Lots of traffic means lots of lag and ques. I suppose Sony could so some stuff to fix it but I think the best remedy for it will be time.

I couldnt pick up my pre order until yesterday, which was the scheduled release date. I got there after work, it was six. They had just sold my pre order to someone hwo had not pre ordered ,and will not get anymore until freaking Thursday.

I HATE GAMESTOP!

I wanted to run out into the parking lot and steal my game from this woman. She was checking out as I started making a scene and got nervous. I didnt know until she walked out the door that she was the one buying it. THe guy at the counter was freaking out because i was getting mad lol. I couldnt help it it was stupid. They called me saturday night telling me its out early. Ok well that sucked. I couldnt go out that night to get it. I worked late sunday so I couldnt go get it. I got out early monday (6 is early here lately) and I get there and no you waited too long. THey give pre order customers 48 hours to come pick it up.

I was like, well I got the call after 6 so my 48 hours should still be going fucktards.

Ugh

So I got home and went killing people in the Resistance 2 online BEta. Good times.

Well...now I can't even get onto the LBP servers. The game is acting like it did before the online was up.
I wonder if MM took the servers back down....

This is all very bad. The online of LBP is half the fun, heck its most of the fun. Don't get me wrong: the single player
is really good. The MM levels are amazing. That said, the online is great fun. Its also where a big chunk of the gameplay is.

Look, LBP isn't like a FPS or puzzle game with online multiplayer ...LBP is more like an MMORPG.
LBP DEPENDS on its online working. And working well (at least as good as it worked in beta )

Anyway, I'm disapointed. I'd also say to those people who haven't bought the game yet:

WAIT.

Wait and see if the online is fixed. Cause this is a game breaking issue folks. Definitly, one of those: Did I buy the
right game??? moments....

Update: Servers are up now. online multiplayer is very laggy. Did play some levels online and that was fun. Still not happy though. This game should be bettter...
