I had a desire to play Donkey Kong Country for some reason so I popped it in. I was able to beat the entire game just 3 minutes shy of 2 hours. I don't know know where all the bonus rooms are though. If I ever start up DKC2 (which is a much better game than the first) I can find everything on that cause I have it memorized And then maybe DKC3 which I've only ever played through once. So it will be like a new experience for me.

I played the Resident Evil 5 demo for the PS3 recently. I thought it was really good. I especially liked the graphics. The gameplay was a lot like RE4, expect you had a CPU (or second player controlled) character this time that came along with you. The CPU controlled character seems pretty smart too. I really want to try the online part of the demo, but haven't had the chance yet... I've been very busy with Animal Crossing lately. Haven't seen Dejibo in a couple of days though. We found a way to get copied items (including money & flowers)....a very interesting glitch in the game was introduced to us a while back. Its pretty cool, imo. Its allowed us to get a lot of hybrids, golden items, and some extras of japenese items like the Orge masks! Also, I got a lightsaber (hacked axe) recently and yesterday my dad got....a ShinyBluePikimin hat (also a hacked item). We only went three places yesterday. Lots of communication errors....grrr argh. Anyway, hopefully we'll see Dejibo soon. We want to get her a golden net! DF2506

The RE5 demo was ok. I'm still not too keen on the fact that they took zombies out of the series. RE4 you're killing Mexicans, RE5 you're killing black people. Yeah, thats scary alright.

Still on Animal crossing. Finally managed to run into DF last night, after several days of just missing each other. His dad is a laugh riot. I am 4 fish shy of having caught them all. I am 8 bugs shy of having caught them all, and 4 bones shy of completing the muesem peices. I am getting there! DF's dad gave me a gold fishing rod, and that makes it soooo much easier to catch fish, and a gold water can to bring dead flowers back to life. He promised to share his gold net today. those bugs are dead! I got the tarantula last night. woo! So much fun for a baby game.
I am going to open Harvest moon again. I need to do some work there.
I havent been playing FFXI much. I am rapidly losing interest. It seems everytime I play I get a blistering headache after, and that will kill the buzz of the game.

In chapter 4 of Valkyrie Profile now. Current team of Lenneth, Lawfer, Nanami, and Arngrim. Been switching arn and law out for other randoms to see if they'll turn out any better. They haven't yet >_>
The game hasn't given too many challenges yet, with the exception of the overpowered monster dungeon and one or two boss fights. I assume it's going to get a lot harder on me soon enough.
Danno if I'll get the best ending the first time through. From what I read, it's almost impossible.

The best ending is not impossible, it just requires you know how to get it, so you can plan ahead. With the exception of the Chapter 1 boss in Solde Catacombs, the Chimaera in the Clockwork Tower, and Caves of Obilvion, the game will be pretty easy up until Chapter 5. Note, you can fight Brahms soon, but he will kick your sorry asses unless you bring a party of 3 mages, and have elemental crystals for Lenneth. Chapter 5 is Lezard's Tower. It is an absurdly hard dungeon for your level. The Dragon-Tooth Warriors will possess another monster after they die, Electric Ball mobs pull a FF Bomb style death when they get weak, and the Dragons in there are nasty. Be prepared to wipe. The Forest of Spirits in Chapter 7 is chocked full of Mandragora enemies in one spot. They can, and WILL cause you to wipe out. I strongly advise learning Guts and Auto Item. After that, Chapter 8 has some hard stuff, but the final dungeon of either ending is what will really make you curse. Two bosses in there, Bloodbane and Fenrir, will probably make you think they are impossible to kill, but they're not. You have to have Guts and Auto Item to win. This is where I know Caller would get pissed off, because the bosses from the final dungeon and the monsters in the seraphic gate are nasty, and fights boil down to how lucky you were with Guts revive. But, I found the fights to be fun. However, the PSP version's bosses aren't as hard as PSX.

I'm in Lezard's tower now in Chapter 4. The tower never ENDS. The enemies finally started to kick my butt, but I leveled up about 3 times so far and now they suck again Aelia seems to be slightly better than lawfer, but arngrim is still leagues better. Starting to think I'm not going to find a melee better than him.

You won't, until the Seraphic Gate. You can pick up Brahms then... and well, he wtfpwns everything. Also get Freya, but I don't like her too much in this game. She's AWESOME in VP2 though.
Aelia is a good choice, but her PWS isn't all that great unless you use it last. It's a one hit skill, and does a lot of damage, but it can't get the gauge up. Lawfer's PWS is best left for last too.

Played the Resident Evil 5 demo a couple of days ago. I still like it. Of course, I thought RE4 was great and 5 seems very similar. I played online with someone and that was kind of cool. I think it would have been better if it was a friend I was playing with and we'd been talking via headset! Still playing the heck out of Animal Crossing: City Folk. I got the Wario hat yesterday and also the Hero's Clothes & Hat (Link's clothes). Saw Dejibo, and also saw many other people on my list. A lot of people were playing City Folk yesterday! It was a lot of fun! Played Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions (I have a PSP now! ). I'm stuck at that battle on the stairs (you know the one! ). Grr. Argh. So, I went back a little bit and I'm building my characters up. You know, I did get Luso and suprisingly he is pretty powerful. Not very useful for that battle, but still a lot stronger than I thought he'd be. I'm looking forward to seeing what Blathier is like...if I ever beat that battle....lol! DF2506

Balthier. Is. Awesome. No question about it. He destroys anything on the field withing a turn or two. He gets an attack that allows him to attack 4 times with any weapon, for a total of x2 damage. Luso was surprisingly good. He's perfect for being the party's poacher, but that's the only thing I use him for. I still haven't beat that game, I'm stuck in Deep Dungeon and I'm struggling in there. I'll beat it some day soon. I want Caller to play that game with me if possible, but I can't get the COWARD to do it.

Awesome. Can't wait to get him! Ya, he's really good at that. I use him in random battles mostly. I'm stuck at that whole stairs thing. Gotta level up and go try it again! lol. That has to be the hardest battle in the game, imo. Btw, on a totally different subject (same game), I love the new cinematics in War of the Lions. They are just great! lol. Well you are the Tactics Queen after all! hehe. Man, I wish the multiplayer was online too. I'm sure you'd beat me, but it would be fun to play a battle with you. I have some other PSP games too. War of the Lions is my favorite though (followed by Crisis Core, its awesome). Anyway, today I played lots of City Folk! Tonight I'll play some more War of the Lions if I get the chance. I'll have plenty of chance coming up though. I have Thursday off because of Lincoln's birthday. DF2506

I do nothing strategy related in strategy games, I go in blades-a-swinging and spell-a-flaring. This tends to piss off people who religiously play strategy games so...>.>

Be careful with that thing. Metroids are known to suck the life out of everything they touch. Keep them away from your animals or whatever....
