Playing City Folk a lot. Just a great game imo. Also got Castlevania 3 for virtual console today. Never played it before. So far it seems to be like Castlevania 1, but hear theres more to it than that. Hope so.

God, it sounds like Caller knows as much about FF6 as I know about FFT. FF6 is a pretty good game, but I'm not as obsessed with it as others are. Only other game besides FFT that I absolutely adore is FF4.

6 is my favorite in the series. I want to have both that and Chrono Trigger buried with me when I die.

Still plugging away at FF4 DS.
*zomg spoilage*
Got to the point where you actually get to fight Golbez. Rydia dies in seconds and I can't revive anyone in time. Already lv.36 (not grinding even) and can't beat the bastard. Though I'm sure I'll do better next time. I just have to slow him before he goes magic nazi on me.

Have been playing Animal Crossing, and harvest moon.
havent seen DF in a dogs age on the puter. Figured out how to fix his lack of grass in his town, but need to hunt him down to tell him.
I just love this silly game.

I started up Knights of the Old Republic and right away I got swamped with WAY too much to do. >.> The game keeps freezing though so I don't think I'll be playing it much, though I wonder if I can install old Xbox games to the thing...it's a used disc so it's probably why it freezes but I had to download a patch before the damn thing even loaded so maybe it's just not compatible.
Seems really really hard to become Dark Side since every damn thing you do gives you Light Side points. >.> I'm only as far as the Resident Evil section of the city, so I have plenty more to do. Though this is the first time I've ever seen plain, regular old-fashioned swords in the Star Wars universe...

Bio-Ware's excuse for the swords was because it takes place several thousand years before Ep.1 and the technology is not what we know in the universe. Which is bullcrap. The swords are there cause the battle system uses the d20 rules from Dungeons and Dragons. The swords and lightsabers are for the melee stats used in d20 and the blasters and rifles are a sub for the bow and arrows and crossbows etc.
Its seriously not hard to go dark side. Pretty much every option in the game has a light/dark path. Don't be afraid of going dark. While some party members won't aprove of your actions they won't leave or betray you. You won' feel the full effects of being good or bad until more towards the end of the game. Its not until KotOR 2 where choices effect party members early on in the game.
Its a good series. Graphics are crap but the games portray the Star Wars universe better than any game I've seen so far (with the exception of the swords). And the first one has the biggest "omgwtf" moments I've ever seen in a game.

If you mean the ending Gametrailers already spoiled it for us so I know exactly what happens. I'll try again soon, it's pretty decent, I like games that let you customize characters but I'm still not sold on this battle system yet. I'm not sure how to make Mission's Backstabbing ability work when battle mode is canceled when you move...and I don't know how to pull attention (like Provoke) to help her out. I may just use the Wookie, but I don't have Security, and so I need her for a lot of doors.

Ah its too bad that part got spoiled for you. I love the amount of customization that goes into building your characters. In particular your main character sicne he/she can have two classes. Finding out which combos work best is another fun part of the game. Mission's Sneak Attack/Back Stab is not something I ever really bothered with. She was one character that was mostly shelved for me. However, I think if you are in stealth mode with her you can easily hit off a Sneak Attack thing. Before you even start fighting ofcourse. A third game is in the works but its an MMO which has me disapointed. I like MMOs but I really do not feel like starting up another one. But from what I've read on it so far it is supposedly really story driven. Which is important for sure cause I need to have conclusions for things. Good thing I never got into Shenmue

Still playing animal crossing, and loving it! I had DFs dad come to my town, and hooked him up with some friends to add to his list, so he can go visit other towns. He is a riot! very funny man.
The town is full of blooming hybrid flowers, and I am working on regrowing the grass. a glitch in the game makes the grass wear down and before ya know it, you live in a desert town. There is a way to fix it, but it requires patience and work. DFs dad did it, and their town is wonderful again.
I love mah baby games.

Found a copy of Valkyrie profile: Lenneth on the PSP so I decided to pick it up, knowing that I'd probably never see it again.
The game has the same problem the Star Oceans have at the beginning; it takes forever for the game to start grinding its gears. Once it does, however, seems to be addicting. I'm kinda afraid I'm going to miss like everything from what the reviews are telling me, but I guess I'll just read a FAQ the 2nd time through..
Question: When do you send your slaves, I mean ghosts up to Odin? At the end of each chapter?

Yes, at the end of each chapter. Freya will come down and have a chit chat with Lenneth, and report to you about your Einherjar. Be sure to send them before the last period in the chapter!!! I can't stress this enough. Send them on the last day, like if you have 30 periods in Chapter 1, send them on period 29.
