So I beat Star Ocean 4. Pretty gewd game if you just disregard the plot entirely. It was still better than the 3rds, but there were too many plot holes. Don't want to spoil anything, but something in the ending happened that made no sense. The game just throws it at you like "Ok, accept it" and I just couldn't. Especially since the other person who suffered the same fate was written off as an afterthought.
I'm now working on all the additional content, including the obvious extra dungeon. There is a serious difficulty spike for it in this game. As in, I can't even kill the first random encounters in it with any sort of confidence to level there. I will get to the end only to fight the even more obvious hidden bosses.

Today, I checked out Home and played some Resident Evil 5. You know, Home is so wasted. Its just SO lame as it is. I hate that every time you play it you have to download updates and/or redownload the places everytime. Plus, there's just NOTHING to do in any of the places... Though, this new game Xi looked interesting. Too bad the server was down and I couldn't get into the place. Grr. Argh. Of course, it'll prob just be a disappontment though. Like the rest of Home. As for Resident Evil 5, I unlocked two new trophies and a new place in the Mercenery mode! I'll prob play more Killzone 2 much later tonight. Or maybe tomorrow. DF2506

Ok, so for those that read How was your day, I started playing Parasite Eve again cause Battlestar Galactica made mention of Mitochondria Eve. The inner nerd in me just had to. SO anyways, I am only on Day Two and I am enjoying this game. I've only ever played this game once and at the time I didn't know of the Chrystler Building or the big boss on the top. So I never did that. I plan on doing that this time. I might even play PE2 after this. If any of you remember that video on gamespot I made a few years back where I talk about the games that I havn't beat but wish I had....well PE2 was on that list. And I hope to take it off. Anyways, we also made mention of PE3 on the other thread. I have no info about a PSP game but there was a Mobile game being made a while back that has since been cancelled. It was Called The Third Birthday. This was all they had. It says its been cancelled on the left. www.gamespot.com/mobile/rpg/parasiteevethethirdbirthday/index.html?tag=result;title;2Not like I care. I don't have a cell phone and have no intention of getting one so its not like I'm upset by this. But please do a PE3, Square.

The Mobile one is the one that's cancelled, yep. They've since moved it to PSP, and I've yet to hear that one is canceled, and it'd be kinda weird for them to do two trailers for it for PSP after the fact...well we'll see. I liked PE1 a lot til the final boss (which was *impossible*), PE2...not so much (but it wasn't bad), so if this sees the light of day, I'll get it. It wasn't bad.

Which final boss do you refer to? The little mutant baby that has four forms or whatever is at the top of the Chrystler Building? Cause the baby was hard but I remember he had pretty easy patterns to memorize.

The one on the ship. I never bothered with the Chrysler building but Mark did, maybe he finished it. I remember swearing up a storm on that fight. Actually I don't remember actually *winning.* >.> PE2's I vividly remember as being a right WHORE however.

Yeah I could never beat that boss (PE2). Her first form was cake but that second form. I could NOT do that. I hope this time will be differant. I hate getting that close to the end only to be met with soemthing unbeatable. So, I just noticed this right now. When you enter the museum on the New York map, if you look closley it has a Chocobo on the side of the building. Pretty neat.

If you think the boss on the ship is tough, you will not survive the boss in the Chrystler building. That bitch is 100000000% evil. She has this stupid instant death ability and loves using it. That instant revive ability Aya has is absolutely needed for that fight.
I wanted to play a game last night but I couldnt figure out what I was in the mood for. I had an urge to go exploring. But that is something I do more in a MMO or something. But I sat Eternal Sonata. I started this a long time ago (The PS3 version) but it is very unforgiving at times and I remember getting mad at a boss and I never played it since. So I popped it in and got past the boss pretty fast this time.
I am not very far into it in fact last night I just got Viola in my party, she is my 5th character.
Anyway, I got through this little bity forest and entered this plains area and it was just spectacular looking. The use of color in this game is amazing, and the world is just so stunning. I did some leveling and made it to a fortress. even this run down old building looks great. I stopped there but I just realized how much I love this game. SO its something I will be playing for a while hopefully. I just hate those stupid segments where they show the real life pictures and talk about Chopins life. It really draws me out of the game.
Other than that and the ridiculous difficulty in some of the fights 9Stupid block never seems to actually work) its a really fun game. Im 5 hours in so the story isnt really doing much yet, but I am hopeful.

So, DF. You said you played Killzone 2, yes? I have not and know very little about it. But I heard something about a character in the game named Radek, is that true?

So, DF. You said you played Killzone 2, yes? I have not and know very little about it. But I heard something about a character in the game named Radek, is that true? Killzone 2 is set in some sort of future where the human race is invovled in a war with an alien race. The humans go to the aliens home planet to fight them. It's a first person shooter with nice graphics, trophies, multiplayer online, and it even has some motion elements (twisting the PS3 controller to set a bomb or open a door). I'm not sure about Radek. I don't recall the name. The main character's name (the player character) is called Zev I believe. Honestly, I haven't been playing too much of Killzone 2 lately (glad I didn't buy it). The game goes back on Thursday. I want to play more of it today though. Hope I get the chance. I would say overall that Resistence 2 is a better first person shooter. KZ2 is kind of neat, but definitly not the Halo 3 killer that Sony wants it to be. Resistence 2 is much closer to that, but you know, I don't think anything has really beaten the Halo games yet as far as the FPS experiance (says the Sony fan). Anyway, today I only played some Animal Crossing: City Folk. Today, I hope to play some Killzone 2 and prob some City Folk. Gotta play more Resident Evil 5 and hopefully some Fallout 3 over the weekend. DF2506

Have you tried CoD4 at all? I like that a lot more than Halo 3. I always found the Halo series to be pretty generic. CoD4 is amazing but its a ton harder than Halo. And I'm not good at FPS games to begin with. XD

And I'm not good at FPS games to begin with. XD Oh ya, Call of Duty 4 was awesome. There are aspects that I really like about CoD4 better than Halo, but than there are aspects of Halo 3 that I like a lot too. I think both of them are great FPS games. I'm not really that good at FPS games either. I think the reason I'm always talking about the Halo series a lot is because some of my best FPS memories are there. Especially Halo 3 because I had a friend who I was playing co-op with and also multiplayer with. That was a lot of fun. With CoD4, I liked the offline and online mode; I was actually quite addicted to the online for awhile. Though, it would have been even more fun if I had had someone to play that game with like I had with Halo. You may be right about CoD4 being better though in the end. I definitly did like the graphics and the leveling up online a lot! DF2506 " Wonders if CoD4 on the PS3 is good. HMMM."

CoD4 on the PS3 is freaking awesome. And I have it so we could go online. Too bad it doesnt have coop though. I think World at War has it... I will have to check.
I hate WW2 FPS games, thats why World at War is not holding my interest.

WW2 FPS games are alright they are just overdone. Theres so many of them as it is so when you find out CoD4 is modern times its a huge sigh of reliefe to see soemthing new. I am quite surprised that WaW went back to the WW2 times. But apparantly it has a downloadable multiplayer mode where you team up with people to kill zombies. I don't think thats been done in the CoD games before.

IM at about 20 hours in Eternal Sonata. I just left Sharp Mountain and got into Agogo forest. Then this bastard of a boss appears. He it super fast, and hits like a truck. Its almost impossible to block at all. And I dont have any of my fighter characters so that makes it even harder.
I love this game but sometimes you will out level an area only to discover you still need to level for the stupid boss LOL.
