I havnt tried LBP since that one night where we had all the connection errors. Perhaps I should give it another go. I would very much like to play online with you. Ditto! Hope to play LBP again with you soon. I think it comes out at the end of next month. It really looks awesome. I won't be able to buy it (not right away), but I'll definitly rent it when I get the chance. I also hope its as good a game as they claim. I think they will be releasing a demo of it shortly before it comes out. So I'll definitly download that and give it a try! Anyway, yesterday I played: Rune Factory Frontier Animal Crossing City Folk (visited with U.K. and Japanese friends) Defend Your Castle Re-downloaded Mario Kart 64 cause I plan to play that again soon. Its waiting for me on my SD card now. Hope something cool comes out today for DSiware. My dad got a DSi and so far the games for download haven't been too good. Here's hoping for something cool... Oh and I hope for something good on Wiiware/Virtual Console. Come on, I want Majora's Mask already! lol. DF2506

So... I finished Ecclesia. Turned out to be a really, really good game. I loved it. I dunno what it is about that CV with it's no story what so ever, but I loved it. More than likely gunna attempt the Hard Mode Lv. 1 challenge and see how far I can get. >.> I went ahead and brought Portrait of Ruin. Got it for a cheap price of just £10! So couldn't not buy it really... So far, I'm liking it. It's satisfying my itch to be back in the castle, but it's not as good as Ecclesia. Ecclesia just has something different about it that makes it better. Maybe it's this god-awful anime art work that just looks crap. I'm so glad they went back to the "matured" stuff with OoE. Anyways, it's fun. The duel characters is a nice return, but I find myself hardly ever using the girl; aka generic anime magic user. She's slow and weak and just not what you want in a hero at all. I know CV isn't the one for breaking moulds but the two main characters in this haven't even tried the littlest bit. Saying that it can be fun swapping them in and out when you're bored and for the standard duo boss fights. Speaking of which, this game is a lot easier than OoE. I'm destroying most of the bosses without dying once... Once I'm done with this I won't have any more CV's to move onto. (Discounting that retarded fighting game for the Wii...) So I decided to buy Crisis Core for the PSP. I've heard lots of good things about that so I'm hoping it'll at least be playable. I've gone past the stage of caring about how they bastardise the FFVII story, I just want to play this for the game play. >.> In other news I just saw the newest trailers for FFXIII... and fuck me does it look good. I take back anything that I've said bad about this game, it looks fucking awesome. Can't wait to get my hands on that.

I am starting to become more interested in FF13. I havn't seen anything new on it or anythign but there is a lack of Japanese RPGs right now and I wouldn't mind having another one.

Go watch the new trailers. There's a load of new game play footage out. The devs invited a bunch of journalists to come see the demo and stuff recently, so there's a whole load of new info around.

In the demo you only control one character. The full version is turn based, and you control all three. Its more like FFX-2 apparently.
Infamous is out this month, they actually moved the release date forward and are giving it out early. like the 22nd or something.

So its turn-based Kikaro? Excellent! That makes me VERY happy! I gotta get FF13 when it comes out (whenever that is...). Definitly have to pre-order it when they start taking the pre-orders. Man...its been sooooo long since the last FF.... Oh and they moved Infamous forward again? I hadn't heard that. Thats pretty cool. I wish I could afford to get it, but I can't. Hopefully, I'll get to rent it! It looks pretty cool. Today I downloaded Crystal Defenders R1 for Wiiware. Addictive stradegy/"tower defense" (no tower, crystals) game. I like! Also played Animal Crossing: City Folk and Rune Factory Frontier today. DF2506

I thought about checking out Rune Factory, how is it? Ive never played a harvest moon game though. I wish i had more games that were online so I could join you. I would get animal Crossing but I totally ignored my DS version. But seeing you and Maggie online would be fun!

Yeah that reminds me immensely of FFX-2, which is a good thing. That game had a fantastic battle system. It looks like you can store moves too a la Chains of Memory, and that, I'm not entirely fond of. Still, and even though it's just a demo, it looks like the same "the action's too fast for you to plod through menus, so just spam Attack" problem that FFX-2 had is still here. I hope they add shortcuts to buttons so you can use Cure or a special attack at the touch of a button rather than having to weave through a sea of choices while getting your ass kicked.

Yeah kinda like Kingdom Hearts 2. How you could shortcut spells and items. I enjoyed X-2's battle system but I couldn't play the game cause of its over the top girlyness. I normally don't have a problem with girlyness sometimes, but that game was saturated in it.

I would get animal Crossing but I totally ignored my DS version. But seeing you and Maggie online would be fun! Rune Factory is very addictive. Its not real time like Crossing, but it does have days & nights. You talk to villiagers, farm, explore dungeons (and can even recruit monsters for your barn), and more! Basically its Harvest Moon Meets a Dungeon Crawler. Really good Wii game, imo. Very nice cel-shaded graphics. As for Crossing, I do recommand City Folk. Its a good game. The online part of it is especially fun. I really like visiting other towns (been to the U.K. and Japan through Crossing). Oh, but Dejibo never plays Crossing anymore. At least not online anyway. Not sure if she checks her town offline or not. Doesn't sound like it though... Re: FFX-2, I liked it. Sure, it was a bit girly (lol), but I thought the battle system was cool, plus I really liked the Job System. Its a very crazy/wacky game. Fun though. The recent videos I've seen of 13 look awesome. Anyway, yesterday I played a little of Crossing. Also played Crystal Defenders R1 and Tetris Party. Today, I gotta play more of Rune Factory and Crossing. Btw, Kikaro, don't forget that on Thursday there will be a FREE LittleBigPlanet Creator Pack to download. It'll include cool new tools like the Tetherless Jet pack and the Infinite Lives Checkpoint! I definitly have to play some LBP on Thursday. DF2506

About Dej, I don't think she's playing it at the moment. Pretty sure she's been playing FFXII lately. But, send her a PM if you'd like to get in touch, she said she really enjoyed playing the game with you and your family.
Debating what I should play, but Dej has me interested in FFXII again. Also thinking about Star Ocean 3 for the 7th or 8th time, Valkyrie Profile 2, or completing Suikoden Tactics, and starting up Suikoden V. All the games are so good, I dunno what to play.
I'm hoping to get the new Valkyrie Profile next month. It's a SRPG for DS, so I should enjoy it.
Still want Star Ocean 2 PSP, Star Ocean 4 (yeah right) Tomb Raider Underworld, and the new Suikoden... bleh. No money sucks!

Steph, re: Dej, I'll have to do that.
The game I'd really like to play again is FF10. I liked that game so much. Don't have a copy of it anymore though. I saw a used copy once, didn't buy it, say it again, didn't buy it, not sure if they have a copy anymore of it. Grr. I gotta buy it next time I see it. FF10 is one of my favorites.
I did like some of 12, but I don't know, overall I thought was OK, but I really missed the Turn-based battle system.
FF13 looks to bring back a bit of turn-based or at least menu based gameplay. I like that. Hopefully, FF13 will be better than 12.
Today, I played Animal Crossing: City Folk and Rune Factory: Frontier.
Visited another town in Crossing. Saw a U.K. friend. Nice.
As for Rune Factory, there is a new storyline that started last night with a guy who moved into town with one purpose. That purpose is.....to run the main character (me) out of town!! hehehe. Its funny stuff.
Gotta play Crossing again later. Plus, I'm going to try and play more Rune Factory. Maybe some Crystal Defenders too.

got the PM thanks DF.
I am playing FFXII. I am thinking about FFX as well. I may break down and buy rune factory. For now, I am just chilling, and trying to avoid the headaches that come from playing.
I miss FFXI so much, but its not worth the blistering headaches, so for now I wont play it.
your right no money sucks!
