Thats awesome Norfair! Thanks for posting that! I gotta get that when it comes out. Btw, I heard that all of the games are going to be on 1 disc. What is that a pic of? Special edition? What I played (Thursday & Friday): LittleBigPlanet: Played LBP on Thursday and downloaded the new Monsters Kit & the new Monsters costumes. VERY cool. The Kit had a bunch of cool things to make a Monster themed level with and the costumes = WOW! Specially like the Werewolf! Pain: Downloaded the coolest DLC character yet: Ded Baron. Yes, even cooler than Daxter (although he's still pretty cool). Ded Baron is just so much fun to throw at stuff. I like his stunt moves when he's flying toward stuff. hehe. Oh and I got a cool theme of the Ded Baron too. If it didn't have the Pain name there, you wouldn't even know theme is related to Pain. lol. Infamous Demo: Downloaded on Thursday, played on Friday. WOW. Infamous is just awesome! Great graphics, great gameplay, lots of places to explore, fun missons, cool superpowers, and a very long demo! I gotta play the actual game. Animal Crossing: City Folk: Mom got her Wii & has her town all set up. We're still getting her town fixed up. No vistors for her yet, other than us. We got all her furniture in yesterday and today we get some flowers & patterns on the ground for her. Soon, we transfer a lot of our stuff over to her town and then we do a new town for us (dad and me). Hope its as cool as mom's town. She has an island and a little valley/alley. Still an addictive game. Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask: Stuck at the first Spider House. I can almost get all of the gold spider tokens, but there are still a few hiding from me. Its madding. lol. Cool game anyway. Glad I got it. Yes, with all of that, I'm still hoping some cool comes out this Monday for Wiiware. Wish Nintendo would release Swords & Soliders already (Europe has it). Looks fun. Still playing VP:CotP. The game has 3 storyline paths, and I beat the "easiest" one the other day. I'm now about half way through the medium difficulty path. Easiest path had a very "blah" kind of ending, as expected. So, I'm hoping the other two endings are better. I see I'm going to have to go through the paths several times. When I sacrifice a character, I receive an ability in return, and I get to keep those when I start a new game +. I need to eventually sacrifice each character to get all the abilities... I know, sounds horrible, right? But, that's part of the storyline I suppose. I can only sacrifice so many each game too, if I do it too much the game ends prematurely. Really enjoying the game, but it's definitely not for everyone.

I beat Mass Effect today. Fucking amazing game! I think I actually liked it more than KotOR. In any case, I beat the game as a Renegade (bad guy). I really liked the ending. It sets up nicely for Mass Effect 2. Looking forward to that now. And now I am playing a second run through. This time as a female character and going Paragon (good).
Whats cool about this game is that during certain points in the game you can choose to kill off certain party members. And if you do those characters will not be in the second game. Once you kill them they are gone for good. I think thats pretty cool. So I could have certain characters return but someone else who played the game differantly won't have those guys back with them. A very neat feature.

I've beat Path B in VP:CotP now. The B ending was definitely better than the C ending. I have one more scenario to beat, and then the bonus dungeon is unlocked. From what I'm seeing in the guide, it's going to be like Deep Dungeon from FFT, but with the random monsters of the recent Star Ocean series games. I've heard Caller and Masaia talk about Ethereal Queen and Gabriel Celeste appearing on random floors, and I think that can happen in this game as well. I just hope they are challenging, the bosses in Star Ocean 1 were rather disappointing, nevermind VP:L. You Beetles fans might be pleased to hear that in the bonus dungeon, there are beetle monsters named after the band members of the Beetles. Well, at least the guide says there is. Also, random thought... I was browsing the Square-Enix site the other day, and they have taken claim to the Tomb Raider series, since they bought Eidos. I say give SQEX about 10 more years, and they'll have a complete monopoly on the video game industry... judging from how things appear right now. I'm pleased with how they're doing with the Star Ocean series since buying Enix, I hope I feel the same way about Tomb Raider...

Beatles is with an "A" Interesting eitherway. I had heard about SE taking claim of Tomb Raider and Eidos. No idea why they would want to, its not exactly their type of game. I can imagine the next TR game, Lara bouncing off walls, flying while shooting and dodging things. Her attire will also likely change for the worse. Zippers, buckles, big shoes etc.

Sorry, it's my fault, I'm not exactly a fan of them. XD Can't really get into any music made before the 80s >.> Lara is already zipper...y enough... I can only imagine how much worse it can get. XD I wouldn't mind seeing some real storyline thrown into the games though. The past few games have had significant amounts of story, I hope it gets even more. Only issue is, it seems to keep changing with each new game. Still haven't even got to play the latest tomb raider. I have it for PC, but my machine can't handle it.

Heh, I am much the opposite. I can't get into music from the 80's and up. Hippy music and acid trips FTW! Bees attack a GameStop in New York! Pretty crazy. But whats crazier is the apathy of the police and fire departments. Video! abclocal.go.com/wabc/story?section=news/local&id=6828888

I'm Playing: Animal Crossing: City Folk: Alot! We started a new town on Sunday. My character is called Thor and my dads character is Loki. Our town is Asgard. I really like our new town. Very nice layout, a huge island, and some pretty good animals. We have just been getting the new town setup and visiting my mom's town. We had a couple of friends over today too! Final Fantasy 9: Started a new game on FF9. Didn't get very far into it, but I'm pretty sure I'll keep playing. Fun game. LittleBigPlanet: On the weekend, I played some cool user levels. They were called Scientific Island (1, 2, 3, 4). Four was especially cool, but the other levels were well worth a look too. Wow. Its so amazing what some of these users create! Also great was Sci Fi World Pt. 1 and Sci Fi World Pt. 2. Fun stuff. Not fun: the new "Patch" levels from "famous" people. Pretty lame levels. Not sure what MM is thinking with the "Patch". One can only hope they levels get better... In any case, I heard a new downloadable level pack will be coming soon (how soon, I don't know). Its based on Ratchet & Clank! Should be awesome. Though, I do wonder if MM has abandoned Online Create Mode... Art Style: PiCTOBiTS: I got this game for my dad. Its a DsiWare game. I have to say that its the best DsiWare game so far. Very addictive puzzle game. Very unique, fun, and challenging. Nice old skool Nintendo setup too. My dad really likes it and so do I. Next week, I know I'm going to cave in! lol. Square will probably get my money (again). Yes, Final Fantasy 4: The After Years comes out next week! Well, the first episode anyway. *groan* Not sold on the episode thing, but man, its an FF game. Doubt I'll be able to resist it. lol. DF2506

INFAMOUS!
Okay I played forever last night. This game is pretty freaking awesome.
Good timing too, I just finished Star Wars: Force Unleashed.
Anyway I am trying something a little different. I am being a good character! *GASP* I know right? Totally wrong for me. But I actually want to rebuild the city. The opening is very cinematic. And it is a lot of fun. Watching your powers grow stronger, and unlocking new abilities is a lot of fun.
So far the story is very wierd. It is really not at all what I was expecting. And this is a good thing, it seems they are trying to do something interesting.

OK, I beat the final scenario of VP:CotP. It was the happy ending, which after seeing the other two, I felt I deserved, damn it. Final Boss was a mean bitch, much harder than anything I had encountered yet in the game. I wasn't able to just throw my characters at it, attack and watch it die, nor could I simply use one person to tank through it's abilities. I had to retreat, and regroup 3 times before I was able to defeat it. So now I'm in the Bonus Dungeon. Like VP:L, it's a completely separate part of the game. Unlike VP:L and VP:S, I started off at level 1... with basic items, armor, no money, no consumable items. I do have access to every recruitable character from the main scenario, so that is a plus. Immediately after entering, and the starting scene, I have to face off against Gabriel Celeste... he's got stats comparable to a level 1, but still, good way to make you panic a little. I get to recruit the repeating characters from the series in here, so I'm looking forward to that.

I have heard of Infamous but I know very little about that game. I am still playing (and loving) Mass Effect. I usually don't play a game more than once after finishing it till quite some time later. But this game is too much fun. I might do a third playthrough after I beat the game as my good side girl. Its fun playing again as a differant class. Especially these BioWare games where you can choose to be good or bad. It opens up so many new possibilities. BioWare, I love you! I downloaded the Bring Down the Sky addon for this game too. It was about 8 bucks. I have not done it yet but apparantly its only an hour long. Whats the point of DLC if the content only lasts 60 1 or two hours? And I hear Fallout 3's DLC is about 10 hours. Now thats DLC worth buying. And since Mass Effect is such a big game you know they could do better. EDIT>> I meant to respond to DF on this Thats what the link says too. But I don't think they could do all three on one disk. If it was blu ray then for sure they could. But with the medium the Wii uses and considering the Wii isn't that much of a hardware upgrade from the Cube I'd say its more likely for them to be on seperate disks. Either way, it will be mine. Oh yes, it will be mine. Love these collection sets.

I keep playing two games. Infamous, which I am in love with. And I am considered a Hero now. 100% good deeds done by me! I cant wait to replay it and just be evil!
I also got Sacred 2. Its a diablo style RPG. I got it for the PS3 (The better version I hear) and am loving it. Its a huge time waster and I love running around killing things.
It has online multiplayer, so I have some friends that are going to join me.

Downloaded FFIV: The After Years or whatever and Bubble Bobble Plus tonight (cuz, just gotta). Bubble Bobble was a nice trip back to my childhood but they fixed the damn bubble jumping through walls thing that made the NES game a lot easier. The game is hard now, which is a good thing, and it still has that same theme song, which is even better! It's worth $6, grab it! So far I'm not really impressed with FFIV-2 but it's early yet. The Band function has potential to make it seem like Chrono Trigger with dual techs but with the mobs beating the shit out of you, it's not safe enough to experiment with the combos to unlock them because you'll just plain die if you do it too much. I'm letting the graphics and music slide since I know it was a mobile phone game but the story so far is going noooowhere. But I gotta say it's kinda cool to actually get to walk through the Devil's Road for once instead of a creepy music-themed cutscene. The difficulty is staring to get up there now though. It was insultingly easy at the beginning.

So far, I'm loving FF4 The After Years. So glad I got it. The battle system is addictive and I like the graphics & music. There doesn't seem to be a lot of story yet, but that doesn't bother me. I'm just having so much fun with this.
FF4-2 is a really cool, fun Old Skool RPG. Currently, I'm leveling up. Tried to go through the Waterway to Baron, but didn't do so hot. So I went back to my other save and I'm leveling up. Its so great to be playing a game like this again. I hope Square (and other rpg people) do more games like this for Wiiware!
Oh and my dad downloaded Mighty Flip Champs for the Dsi. Wow. What a unique, fun, challenging action-puzzle game. It could have easily been a retail DSi game! I highly recommend it if you have a DSi, like puzzle games, and want a challenge.
Next Monday: Swords & Soliders for Wiiware! Can't wait. Its a side scrolling RTS game. Looks fun and also looks to have a wacky sense of humor. Must download!
My dad plans to get Mario VS. Donkey Kong for DsiWare on Monday too. I'm also looking forward to playing that. The Create-A-Level feature looks fun. Should have some nice puzzles too.
Also hoping that the PS3 comes out with some cool stuff soon (Ratchet & Clank LBP level pack? Metal Gear Solid Psone? Hope so on both).
I was tempted by Final Fantasy 7, but I have the disc and it still works on my PS3. Medal of Honor was kind of tempting, but eh, I don't know.
I'm holding out for LBP stuff and some other cool PS1 title (like maybe Metal Gear Solid 1...). Or LBP stuff and those other Pain enviorments. We'll see.
For now, I'm continue playing FF4: The After Years, Animal Crossing, and Mighty Flip Champs some.
