You'll be doing that a lot. I have a guide, but it still misses a lot, and is vague in a lot of areas. Just like with WA3, some places are hard to find, and then each dungeon itself has several puzzles you have to solve using various means. I'll say this as well, I've encountered this at least twice already, if you seem lost, try going back through the door you just entered from, sometimes a new room will appear that way. That's the case in the Emulator Zone, and in the Shining Gardens. It's not something you think about doing very often, at least it's not for me. WA2 is an excellent game, just glad I have someone to chat about it with now.

Haven't downloaded it yet...but what kinda changes <.< All the changes I noticed: Well for starters, Sewer Surfin. You know at the end of the level you fight the Rat King? Nope! Not this time. Instead you see an image of Shredder and he sends you in the time warp. No Rat King, no TECHNODROME LEVEL, and no boss fight agains't Shredder where you fling Foot Soldiers at him. That was the coolest part of the original. The next level, the Prehistoric level was identical except....instead of Slash as the boss you get some.....Clay/Rock monster to fight. I don't know what the fuck it was. The pirate ship was identical too except instead of fighting Bebop and Rocksteady they instead have you fight Toka and Razor. They were in the Technodrome level at the start in the original weren't they? Next change the future surfing one. It was too short. I have to say this level was tens times better in the original. It was longer in the original and even flipped your camera angle around which is not seen much in SNES games. You'de think they could do that on 360 with the updated graphics but they chose to keep it side scrolling. The level was very blah when the original version of the level was very exciting. Finally, when you fight Shredder at the end he is not Super Shredder. He is simply Shredder. And it was also the easiest part of the game, fighting him. I did have fun playing this but the changes were too many for my tastes. They got rid of a level that had one of the funnest and creative boss fights in a arcade beat em up. EDIT>> ....unless....these so called changes, was the arcade version like this to begin with? Did they add stuff to the SNES version maybe? Cause it just occurred to me the original TMNT arcade game had two extra levels added when it was made for the NES. Maybe they did the same when they ported Turtles in TIme from arcade to SNES and thats why it seems smaller? Cause I am used to the SNES version? Perhaps?

I guess I was wrong. But also right when I edited. From Wikipedia I guess I am too used to the SNES version. Its too bad though. That Shredder fight...where you fling Foot Soilders at him......that was fun

Aw well boooo, but Nintendo would own the rights to those stages so it's to be expected. Still disappointing though. But for a small $8 price tag I can get over it. Do the turtles have different speeds and attack reach still?

Yes. Infact when you start the game and are at the Turtle select screen there are little bars over the each category to gauge each. Raph is the fastest but has the shortest reach. Don has the best reach but is the slowest. etc.

I did say the bosses were easy in WA2... yeah, well I started doing the last leg of disk 1. The Diablo Pillars are much harder that the previous bosses. Glad to finally see some challenge in the game.

Steph: Thanks for the advice again! I'm glad your playing this game too. Still playing Wild Arms 2 a lot. I'm now in the enemies ship. Its during the part where the three nations get together. This game just gets better and better. I also played the demo of the new Batman game today on my PS3. WOW. This game is just awesome! Best Batman game EVER! Really. Wow. Just so cool! Graphics & gameplay are top notch. I'll have to try and snatch a copy up when it comes out. Oh and of course, I'm still playing Animal Crossing: City Folk too! DF2506

I just got to disk 3 of FF7. I remember my first time playing this game ten years ago. I woke up one Saturday and played the hell out of this. I literally went through the entire disk 2 in one sitting. I remember staying up to 7 in the morning playing. That was the first time I ever pulled a whole nighter for a video game. So even though I think FF7 is far from the best in the series, it does hold a special place in my heart for that one memory. I also seem to remember that craptastic Brady guide. I still have it somewhere. I remember that once you get the airship it tells you to imediatly start CHocobo Breeding to get the Gold Chocobo and get Knights of the Round. And all boss stratagies would say "to beat this boss use KotR for a quick win" as if it was the only way to beat em. They would offer no other stratagy. Well, I don't have KotR and I am beating bosses just fine. I may die once or twice but I get over it.

Pretty much at the end of WA2 now. Got to the last save point, and backtracked. Gonna level up to 99 I guess, and kill all the side bosses. Assuming I don't get bored...

I'm still playing Wild Arms on the PSP. Just about to enter KA Dingel. Loving this game again, so much so that I *acutally* put Alter Code F in on the PS2 and started that as well. It's still nothing compared to the original, but I'll probably play through that as well. >.> I've also got WA2 on here, so I'll be another one playing that when I'm all done and dusted with these two. I'm also thinking about playing 3 again at some point... but I'll see how that goes. Other than that, I'm not playing anything all that interesting. Looking forward, there doesn't seem to be many games coming out that I want either. I'll pick up Dragon Quest V for the DS when it comes down in price more, and I'll more than like get DQIX as well when it's out. Besides those two, I'm looking forward to Ninja Gaiden 2 on the PS3, so I'll get that in October. But... other than those, there's not a lot. I think I'll just stick to my PSOne classics and see how far they last me. >.>

Still playing Wild Arms 2! Really fun game. Just completed the factory that Steph mentioned earlier in this thread. Thanks again for the advice Steph. Also played a lot of Crossing yesterday. Had a very fun day with it. Saw an old AC friend who hadn't played in awhile. Fun. Saw a few other people too. I also downloaded to my PS3: the new LBP History Pack, a new free Pain download, and the demo of Marvel VS. Capcom 2. I wanna see if its any good. Mostly just playing Wild Arms 2 and Crossing. DF2506

For those who remember FF7, since when do you split your team into two groups when fighting Bizzaro Sephiroth? I honestly don't remember doing this in the past. I just remember having one group fight him in the center instead of two groups each taking a side and an arm. This is not what I remember. I don't know what to do with this fight now. XD

The better you do in the fight against the last Jenova, the "harder" the next Sephiroth fight is. You can actually have up to three groups fighting that...thing...if you bury Jenova too quickly. Further, it's been said that the last form of Sephy levels up with you and will kick your sorry ass with that Supernova or whatever move if you're too high of a level.
That said I've always found his first form to be easier as you get more groups instead of harder. in fact, a 3 group battle is almost as easy as the Dark King in FF Mystic Quest, who could be killed with the Cure spell
Yarly.

I figured the fight out. It was tricky, but fun. I actually enjoyed having the two groups do it. If I would have known you could do this I would have had levelled up more Materia. I had Cloud, Barrett and Tifa in group 1 and Vincent, Cid and Cait Sith in group 2. Group 2 had very little materia. Just a few cures and spare summons but it was enough. I had fun switching back and forth defeating differant sections. After that I moved on to the "One Winged Angel" fight. Its fun too but also fucking annoying as hell. I don't mind so much that its hard but that spell Super Nova or whatever. The one that takes like 5 billion years to cast, The one that destroys the entire solar system before obliterating your party. It takes way too long. They needed to have it shorter. I can go take a dump while this is going on. In any case, I did beat him just now. Ooohhh, if only you could have seen it. It was something. He had just used that 5 billion year long spell and took almost everyone down to death. It also causes status effects so everyone was silenced. I used a quick Megalixer to try to correct it but he countered with Heartless Angel (all HP of party reduced to 1). So I'm there with 1 HP per person, all Silenced and pretty much fucked. But I had all three limit breaks up thanks to all that damage taken. I spammed em and he died! I like to tell stories. And this was a good one. I was pleased I am almost complete my Final Fantasy run through from 1 - 10. VII is down now and I leave for vacation in a week so I will tackle FF VIII when I get back from holidays.
