I watched Advent Children tonight. This movie is what made me really hate Cloud. I don't mind him in the game but he is such a pussy in AC. You finish FF7 and he is over Aerith's death. He understand it wasn't his fault and he moves on. AC starts and he starts blaming himself all over again. Isolates himself when he has no real reason too. His last line in the movie "I am not alone. Not anymore"
Idiot! You never were alone! You had your damn friends you just chose to shun them because you are a freakin drama queen. What the hell does Tifa see in this clown? She should go for Barret. He is raising a child. Thats a real man right there.
Anyways, Denzel is cool.

Tried playing Atlantica Online last night, holy crap that is a fun MMO. It's fun because it's not like the others. I can recruit generic mercenaries to assist me in battle, and the battles themselves remind me of seriously fast paced Suikoden. It's awesome. It's also very confusing, because it's like they took a console RPG and plopped a social interface on top of it, so I'm trying to learn how to communicate. It looks like you get rewarded for being nice to people too, I've received 3 gifts from players I don't know, and requests from people asking to be my mentor. I discovered why on that though, they get paid when I level.
Trying to talk Caller into playing. He seems somewhat interested.
Still playing Runes of Magic too, but I may put that down for Atlantica.

I thought Atlantica was a lot of fun myself. Just got sucked back into other games and it sort of fell through the cracks for me.
Im itching for a new big MMO. Champions sucks, Aion kinda sucks too. I need something to sink my teeth into. Oddly enough FF14 has really got my interest.

Yeah, same here. >.> Come hell or high water, I'm getting it. I spent over 5 years playing FFXI, and I'd be lying if I said I didn't love it. FFXIV is FFXI with a twist, so... I'm in love already. Atlantica/Runes of Magic and my console games have me interested for now... but I think I'm gonna get Dissidia on the 25th. I'm not a huge FF fangirl, but the game still looks like a lot of fun.

I hated FFXI towards the final stretch of my time playing it but for the most part I really enjoyed it. So damn strait I want 14.
MMOs seem more appealing to me these days. It seems most console games this generation are shooters. I enjoy some of them, Like Mass Effect I loved cause it was more RPG than shooter, but all these shooters is driving me nuts. MMOs are a relief from that.

Yesterday, I bought Mario Kart for the Wii. VERY fun game. I really like the single player, multiplayer, & the online. Its a very, very, very addictive game.
Also, got Wii Sports Resort for my mom. I played it a little & really like it. I'll have to borrow it from her soon & try it out more.
I played a little PS3 yesterday too. I had downloaded a new demo for a game called Mini Ninjas. Pretty cool demo. Don't think I'd buy the game (can't buy everything under sun-although I wish I could, lol), but Mini Ninjas is going to be a must-rent. The demo was pretty big and there were a lot of areas to explore & things to find. Enjoyed it. The video for the actual game at the end looked pretty good.
Today, I plan to play more Mario Kart, Wii Sports, maybe Mini Ninjas again if I can, and I want to play Ratchet & Clank Tools of Destruction again. Love that game.

I downloaded the Dissidia demo last night, available on PSN. It's playable, with normal mode and hard mode. You can choose from Onion Knight, Cecil, Terra, Cloud, and Sephiroth to control in the demo, the enemies seem to be random. I ended up fighting Golbez both times I played, once as Cecil and once as Terra... Golbez is pretty hard for a newbie. His attacks are hard to avoid because they're magic multi-hitters. Once you get hit, you can't get out. Terra is pretty good, probably because I was more familiar with the controls when I played her. She morphs into half esper on one of her special attacks. I'm quite convinced she is the reason the game claims "partial nudity". Cecil can switch between DRK and PLD, but from what I saw DRK seems to be better. But, I'm still learning. I'm really enjoying the game so far based on the demo, I'm quite impressed with it. I expected just a video. It's a free download, so get out there and download it. Also noticed a demo for Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law... had no idea Birdman had his own video game. When I get a chance I'll download that too.

Right now, I'm playing a whole bunch of games! Here they are:
Animal Crossing: City Folk: Always. Well, at least until the next Crossing...
Mario Kart Wii: Addictive. Fun.
Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction: Such a great, fun game. Can't wait to get A Crack In Time this year!
Chrono Trigger DS: Finally got this on the DS recently. I love Chrono Trigger. I really like the new DS additions (touch screen stuff), and its fun to play the game again. I'm not too far yet, but I'm glad I got it.
Professor Layton & the Curious Villiage: This is actually my dad's game, but I started playing this too. Excellent game. Its challenging, but also fun. Hopefully we'll get the second one soon!
Oh and tomorrow: Batman: AA comes out! Can not wait. Its going to be a lot of fun. Loved the demo. I have to download the Joker Challenge maps tomorrow too!

Dissidia is amazingly good. I was totally expecting to hate it because of all the midair fights but it's so fast paced and not drawn out unless you let it. Lots of chances to attack, dodge, counter, and beat the living SHIT out of each other, and what makes it great is its simplicity. You don't need to memorize stupid ass button combinations. You just tilt the control stick towards or away, up or down, and press circle or square. Just like Smash Bros, its beauty is its simplicity. Right now I'm really liking Bartz. He attacks really quickly but he's pretty weak it seems. Well I'm still learning.

I've been playing Batman: AA and...WOW. VERY good game. Best Batman Game Ever. Heck, its probably one of the best games of the year. Very impressive. And a lot of fun!
Also playing: Animal Crossing: City Folk, Mario Kart Wii, Professor Layton, and and Chrono Trigger DS!
Oh and we have new internet (Cable), so I tried out Home again. Whoa. Home runs VERY good now. Well, ok, there was a little bit of slowdown in the Infamous place, but all of the downloading & loading runs a lot faster now. I also got to see my cool Tree apartment finally & I got the new Batman Apartment (excellent). I think I'm going to like Home better now.
I have to try LittleBigPlanet later tonight. I wanna see if its online works any better!

I got Dissidia today, haven't got to play much yet though. Saw pics on Shantotto in the guide, she's very cute, and true to FFXI. Glad they didn't make her look as innocent as her model did in FFXI. She's got exact replicas of a Fire Staff, and BLM AF, BLM AF2, and the Einherjar Robe set. Looking forward to trying out Gabranth, but it looks like I need to do a lot of stuff to be able to play as him, or Shantotto. It still stands though, Shantotto annoyed the crap outta me in FFXI. Read Gabranth's bio in the guide, says my Basch left him and his mother, that's why Gabranth was such a dick in FFXII? Geez, I gotta beat FFXII. Was playing Medievil on my PSP, got to the Lake level, and quit for now. Lots of game overs in Medievil from my complete inability to jump over small gaps. Caller knows what I'm talking about...

For someone who's allegedly good at Tomb Raider she sure sucks at platforming.
