Yeah, I am the same. I am almost thinking I should uninstall the Fallout 3 expansions and do that. I am completly OCD when it comes to doing things in order. The problem is that when you beat Fallout 3 the game is over. Where as Oblivion can continue after you beat it. So I am worried if I beat Fallout 3 if I will have to start over again and rebuild my character before doing expansion content. ACTUALLY...with the new Broken Steel add-on, the game does NOT end when you "beat" it. Orignally it did, but then they did Broken Steel and that added a new quest for when you beat Fallout 3. So you beat the game, then there's the new Broken Steel quest & the level cap is raised too. Oh and you can continue to do the expanisons. Though, before I started wtih all these other games, I was already doing all the expansions (expect for Broken Steel which you can't do till after the "final" battle). Personally, I'd leave the Fallout 3 expanisons in. They really make the game even better imo. Though, I suppose you could wait till after you beat the game to play them. I love the Mothership Zeta DLC. Just awesome. Also, I really liked Operation Achorange (though I felt like I was playing Call of Duty for awhile there) and Point Lookout. Also, what I've played of the Pitt is interesting too. Hmm. I do need to get back to Fallout 3. lol. Anyway, I wouldn't worry about beating Fallout 3 anytime soon. With the expanded content, plus all of the regular quest & sidequests that the game had already AND the Broken Steel quest, well, its just going to take a long, long, long time. A massive game. One of the best on any of the systems. Although, yes, the PS3 verison is glitchy. Still a great game though. Ok, so what I am playing now? I rented Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 yesterday. Very good game. The single player is fun, but the multiplayer is awesome. The Airport map is especially cool. Also still playing Rabbids Go Home for the Wii (though it does have to go back to the video store today). Its great to be laughing while playing a game. Oh and of course Animal Crossing: City Folk. Though, after Modern Warfare 2 goes back, I really need to get back to Fallout 3. lol. DF2506

Well I started my new character in Oblivion. I made him a thief this time. I usually go for battlemage but I wanted to try something different. PLus I like stealing. I just escaped after stealing the key to a shop, from the actual shop owner. Gotta raise that pick pocketing skill hehe.
Also got to play Ratchet finally. Made it to the first real space segment and am having a blast. So many little side missions on this thing its great. I do see a resolution hit from the first PS3 ratchet game. It concerns me but the game still looks great.
Now I need to get going cause I want to do all the quests in Oblivion. That will be hard, but I think very fun.

I got Oblivion for 360. Great graphics and frames per second, but... it's blurry because I just have typical AV cables for it. Gonna get S-Video cables, that will improve it somewhat. Gotta decide what to make. Thinking about a Redguard female, or High Elf female. Dunno yet. Taking the 360 to Granny's house will be a lot easier than taking the Desktop Computer.

Congrats steph! btw, who got the 360? did Tim? cause if he got it, he is gonna have a fit if you drag it to granny's house isnt he? or did you both get a new system?

We're sharing the system. It stays at my home, because he can come play it any time he wants. If I take it to Granny's, he'll live.

My thief is level 3. I just joined the thieves guild but had an accident with one of the guards in a nearby city and just unlocked the Dark Brotherhood quests. I figure I will get those out of the way first then do thieves. Might as well do mage and fighter too.

I joined Xfire, and sent a friend request to Saek. How did you get that siggie line with your game stuff on it? I saw you have been banging away at LOTR. Is it a good game? How do I get xfire to see what games I play? will it see my PS3?

Xfire only sees computer games. It works as an in game instant messenger which also works with AIM. Brilliant for FFXI full screen mode. Also ideal for World of Warcraft, your mini profile shows your characters as well, if you add them. Unless you have it turned on when you play computer games, it will not clock your hours. It can record video, has voice chat, can take screen shots, and has a web browser built in that you can use without exiting out of full screen mode in a game. I only use the instant messenger though. You can set up the signature like I have at this link: www.xfire.com/miniprofile/That Lord of the Rings Online info was from when I had a free trial and played with Caller. It's about like World of Warcraft. I stopped playing the game several months ago, and don't plan on going back. I've played Oblivion for probably 300 hours or more, but I had changed something in my user settings that made it not record my game hours. I fixed it yesterday, though, and it's recording it again. I only signed up for Rogue, but it works well with Oblivion, because Oblivion hates it when you Alt+Tab. That way, I can still talk to Caller on AIM and not have to Alt+Tab. Anyways... Edwinn 4.0 is trying to earn moolah for a house. So, he's gambling at the Arena. Also... "an accident" Kik? You mean, like he "accidentally" fell on your sword and "accidentally" killed himself? Hehehe. My first character got into the Dark Brotherhood with a glitch... when I did the Siren's Deception quest in Anvil, one of the women I had to attack and kill glitched, and didn't start attacking me automatically... like she's supposed to. You have to kill her to complete the quest too... so it was classified as a murder.

I am enjoying FFX. Its not the best game ever and certainly isn't the best in the series. But I like the characters and story line enough so its good. I remember back in the day thinking the voice acting was good but now I realise that it really isn't that great. But at the time there wasn't a lot of good voice over work in games so it was good for back then. I just got passed the part where Seymore and Yuna get married. He claims the marriage is a good idea cause it would make the people of Spira happy. But we all know he just wants to do it cause he wanted to bone her.

Horrible mental image. Right THERE.
....Not there, THERE.
No one's gonna get it. <.<
Got DragonAge today for PS3. For some reason, the game was priced at $59.99 but came up $49.99 on the register so I got it for about $53 instead of over $60. Works for me! Won't play it til tomorrow though but hey, free monies.
It also came with a "free" download for a new character and an armor set that looks suspiciously like FFXI GMs...

Ugh, I need Level 3 Key Spheres like you would not believe. Auron is stuck on grid and Yuna will be too soon and Lulu is standing right next to the Double Cast node but needs a level 3 key to get it. I do have a Friend Sphere which transports one character to another's location. But I wanna use that on Yuna for when Lulu unlocks Double Cast so they can both get it. So until I get a few level 3 keys, a few of my character's progression is stopping which sucks. XD

I too got Dragons edge or age or whatever, and it rang up $49 instead of the $59 it was labled. I guess Walmart has it for $49 so they price match, and figured they might as well lower the price. Havent cracked the cover just yet. Will get to it.
Did COP today in FFXI. Last week was a total disastour as we had some shitheads in the party that ran out into traffic and had aggro galore, and so forth. it was a whine festival, and horrible. then we went in and everyone completely forgot everything we just discussed! so, we died, quickly. This week I insisted that we take 3 who need it and 3 who dont need it. All else will have to wait. We can go up as Alliance, but only 3 at a time go in. It worked, and we did great!
I have been watching NetFlix on my PS3. Got my disc in the mail, and it works!

I might do a trial thing for FFXI in the near future. I have no desire to really go back to that game but I wouldn't mind just playing it for a short while. Just for memorys and stuff. I am getting near the end of FFX. Kinda put Fallout 3 on hold for now but I'll play that a ton once FFX is done. Some of the boss battles near the end of the game are pretty fun. Like that one in the final aeon chamber where you need to move your characters from platform to platform to try and dodge the boss' line of sight attacks. And then Yunalesca was a blast. Not having a Zombie debuff in that fight will get you killed yet your first reaction is to heal it. I remember the final Seymore fight being pretty fun too. I'll get to that soon. I just killed Yunalesca.

Made a fair Altmer lass in the 360 version of Oblivion. Graphics are much nicer, but my play time is limited on the 360. But, it's nice to have if I don't wanna sit in front of the computer. She plans on being my "uber mage" type. With her huge racial magicka bonus, and the Atronach's huge magicka bonus, I'm gonna have a lot of Magicka at my disposal. Her name is Nemariel, and she also plans on pursuing the path of righteousness. Way too many evil Altmer in this game. Edwinn 4.0 also is Atronach, and I'm getting used to it. Restore Magicka potions are getting him by just fine. Ed's doing good guy stuff. He's almost level 5, but I'm creeping along in levels because each one has to be planned out accordingly. He needs two +5 stat bonuses each level, and then a +1 to Luck to be sure I have 100 in all attributes before level 52, when he'll finally cap out. Trying to quest/level at the same time, but also being cautious about which quests I do. If the reward is an enchanted item, I want to wait until level 30+ or so before completing it, so the item is at the highest level possible. Yes, I'm obsessive, and a perfectionist.
