I took the hint, I made him older. Did more math on his level... looks like he'll cap out at level 50 or so, if I get +5 bonuses to his stats on each level up, minus Luck. To do this, each level will have to be meticulously planned out... lot of work, but it's worth it IMO. >.>

Yeah I thought he looked super young aswell. Kinda reminded me of the characters in Chronicles of Narnia. Young boys in chain mail, as you say. XD
I heard that too, about Dragon Age. If you are unable, or unwilling to play the PC version then PS3 is the way to go. I actually went looking for Dragon Age over the weekend. At future shop they had a ton of copies for 360, a few for PS3 and none for PC. PC is the one I want so I left empty handed. But its not like I'm in any rush to play it with Fallout 3 here.
Steph, if you like Oblivion I am sure you will enjoy Fallout 3. Keep in mind the setting is way differant though. Oblivion is classic RPG medevil setting while Fallout 3 is post nuclear war/apocalypse setting. The game is quite gory, but really, what games aren't these days? It looks like an FPS but its more of a disguise really. A lot of the gameplay is you pausing the action to choose which body part of the enemy you want to take out. Kinda like Vagrant Story....I think. I'm not too knowledgable about VS but I remember targetting body parts was part of the combat of that game. Anyways, theres a ton to do in this game. So many quests and side stuff. Its great. ;D

um, I tried obliviion, and DAMN! it is weird. I find the controls hard to do as they are oppsite from what I am used to. Up is down, and down is up, and left makes you turn right, its bizaare. I am a cat thing, and they busted out a wall in the prison I am in, so I am wandering the basement of this place killing rats. I did figure out how to equip my sword, and new robes that I stole. I am a theif. go figure.
anyway, I have been pecking at this.

You can fix that in the options I am sure. You should see something that says Invert Y or Invert X axis. If they are checked then it means your movement will be the opposite direction you press. Just uncheck those. I myself always have Inverted Y axis (up and down) turned on but X axis (left and right) turned off. I think its cause I played so much Star Fox 64 as a kid that I got so used to inverted Y axis. Games I reccomend for your new 360. Tales of Vesperia. I havn't played it myself but its a Tales game so I am sure it would be good. Lost Odyssey. Another I havn't played but its the spiritual succesor to Final Fantasy. Made by the classic trio of Sakaguchi, Amano and Uematsu. Mass Effect. If you enjoy a sci-fi setting then this is a great RPG. A sequel is coming out soon too. Dragon Age is new and it looks pretty indepth. can you install games on PS3? I'd like to cut down on those loading times that all the reviews are complaining about. Well the PS3 automatically installs games for you when you first pop em in. I don't know if its a full install or if it just certain files or what. I don't know if you can install games the way you can on 360 though. I havn't looked. It would be nice though. Aside from faster load times it also cuts down on the stress a console goes through loading certain files. I read that installing games on the 360 helps prevent red ringing. The ps3 can't red ring but it still gets pretty loud and hot when playing games.

PS3 gets loud and hot period. The room turns into a sauna when it's on. I'll look into installing with what games we have, I think I saw Valkyria had a Install option on the main menu. Sticking with console because PC games drive me insane. Must. Have. Controller! And plus it'd be nice to use the PS3 for PS3 games. I play more PS2 on that thing. Makes LotR look and sound freakin amazing though.

A thief? Nah. Looting the corpses of the dead is perfectly acceptable. It's best to play in first person point of view. If the icon for an action is in bright red, then the action is considered illegal. If the icon is normal, then you are safe. I dunno about controls though, I was able to use the PC controls perfectly when I first started the game. Dunno how PS3 controls are. I did notice when I started Tomb Raider Underworld the controls were driving me nuts because of that. >.> The tutorial is pretty good in Oblivion. Much, much better than Morrowind's. Just take it easy, there is no rush, even if the NPCs make you feel like the situation is dire. Just take your time, explore, loot, and have fun. Before the tutorial ends, you will be given another chance to alter your character's race, birthsign, and class. I like to make a save at that point in case I change my mind again later on. Same thing for once you get outside of the tutorial. The situation may seem dire, but go at your own pace. Explore, and have fun. About the 360... I don't plan on buying any more games for it any time soon. If I get another game for it, it will be Oblivion. Did some stuff in Tomb Raider Underworld last night. Did a few levels, etc. The current area has a Nordic theme, even though it takes place in the middle of the Mediterranean sea. Her movement feels a bit more natural in this game, which I like. The environments are gorgeous, as always.

Highly recommend Dragon Age for the PS3. Awesome game. I had to take Dragon Age back to the video store today. On the plus side, I did rent another game. I rented Rabbids Go Home for the Wii. And its...CRAZY! Just bonkers. Very wacky. So you know I like it. lol. Really funny game. DF2506

DF, I added you as a friend to PSN. You need to accept the friend request though. Playing Fallout 3 and I'm about 10 hours clocked. I am having a lot of fun with this game. I also started FFX. I just met Seymore. I kinda wonder why he wasn't the bad guy in Dissidia instead of Jecht. I mean Jecht may have been the final boss but when it comes right down to it, he wasn't really the bad guy of the story. He was more of an emotional antagonist for Tidus really. Playing Fallout tonight. Finally deciding to do some main story stuff. I'm in Rivet City.

My PS3 comes back tomorrow!
All this talk of Oblivion makes me want to play again. I had finished the Knights of Nine quest, the evil people quests (I cant remember the name) and was working on the Shivering Iles story line. I havnt done a single main story quest since i left the starting dungeon... Heh. I love side quests.
The Knights of Nine give you some pretty powerful armor, and a badass sword.

Dark Brotherhood are the evil peeps. Lucian skeeves me out... it's the voice. >.< I didn't do the expansion pack stuff, I wanted to do the main story first... and all the old quests minus Dark Brothernood. >.> I was gonna look at Shivering Isles a while back, but the first part of the quest looked like a giant acid trip so I declined. >.> I uninstalled the expansion packs, because I spazzed thinking I'd missed spells sold in the Anvil Chapel, and I'm a perfectionist... so that bugged me. Turned out, yeah one of em sells spells, at least one. I still enjoy being a good guy more than anything else, but it is fun to get all evil occasionally. Stalking and murdering NPCs can be fun. >.> Edwinn takes out all his murderous rage out on Necromancers. I need to try to do storyline stuff with Edwinn 4.0 soon, I know the Battle for Kvatch can be a pain in the ass if he waits too long. Scamps are much easier to deal with than Clannfear Runts. As for Norfy's question, I'm nuts about Oblivion. Maybe the 360 version has better graphics than my comp can handle. Would also allow Rogue to play, which I've been harassing him to do. He likes Morrowind, and he seems to like Oblivion from watching me play. In Dissidia, all the enemies were made as emotional protagonists to the main characters, so they chose Jecht instead. God, I hate Jecht in Dissidia.

I guess that makes sense about Jecht and the emotional ties between the good guys. But still, Seymore is the bad guy of the game, not Jecht. Thats kinda why It seemed weird but I get what you mean.
Yeah, I am the same. I am almost thinking I should uninstall the Fallout 3 expansions and do that. I am completly OCD when it comes to doing things in order. The problem is that when you beat Fallout 3 the game is over. Where as Oblivion can continue after you beat it. So I am worried if I beat Fallout 3 if I will have to start over again and rebuild my character before doing expansion content.
