The PS3 was easier to connect for me. It just picked up my WiFi and bam. Im done. 360 I had to do all kinds of hoops to get logged in.
I played more Overlord on the PS3. That game is hilarious. I love my little minions! They are so evil.

I'm using an ethernet cable on my PS3. My PS3 is definitly connecting better then the 360 did. Like Kikaro, I had to jump through all kinds of hoops to get logged on. I'd have to test my connection alot. Well, that was pre-update. Post-update (last years big update), for awhile, it was working good, and then that Christmas thing happened and it was back to "testing my connection." again. lol. My PS3, so far, just logs on automatically when I start it up. Very impressed by that. Of course, I haven't played any online games yet, so I can't say how the online gaming works. Time will tell. lol. Anyway, haven't played anything today yet. I'm going to play some Uncharted after while and then play a Blu-ray movie, Mission: Impossible! DF2506

I'm in a situation right now where I don't want to play any new games. I have this desire to play a whole bunch of older games. I want to finish my FInal Fantasy run through up to 10 then play the Chrono Games, go through both Parasite Eve's, play both Digital Devil Saga games (both are amazing games) and go through a whole bunch of other things I already played. Maybe its cause theres not much coming out that doesn't interest me or maybe its cause its been a while since I last experinced all those games. But either way, I want to play old stuff again.

I'm gonna try to break away from WoW and pick up Suikoden Tactics again. I got on a Suikoden kick today, and I would love to finish Suikoden Tactics and Suikoden V. Been meaning to for years... about time I did! I'd like to finish Star Ocean 1, but the emulator keeps crashing... and I think I deleted my save data. Guess I can wait until October.

Last night: I played Uncharted, MGS4, and the Resistence: Fall of Man demo. I have to say: Resistence is awesome! Just from the little demo I'm already ready to say its better then Halo. I just love the whole WW2 feel with aliens. I played more of the demo today too and I've already decided that I want to get the game. Its cheaper now (only $29), so I'll probably pick it up soon. I also played more Uncharted and Ratchet & Clank: Future today. Oh and the part I just got done with in R&C was awesome. It was an outerspace battle near a sun! Actually, the final boss fight of the level was a boss fight right over the sun! Whoa. Dodging solar flares and the boss attacks was cool; though I did have to retry the battle a couple of times. lol. Anyway, if I get the chance, I'll play more Uncharted tonight. The game has to go back to the video store tomorrow! Man, wow. I love this system. Its just great. Btw, we watched Mission Impossible (the first one) on Blu-ray last night. It looked amazing. Tomorrow, we're going to watch Cloverfield! DF2506

Got yet another new game, which keeps up with my "Can't stay focused on one thing to save my life" theory. Tales of Vesperia for the 360. Game is reminiscent of eternal sonata, as it's completely celshaded, and they did a very good job at it. Little things like marble floors reflecting impress me.
Battles totally kicked my ass at the start as I was learning the controls. The tutorial took me down to red hp <_<; I don't think they are meant to be hard, I just have a hard time grasping the new things about the system. In the previous game, Tales of the Abyss, you could attack right after free run. Well, you can still do that, but it does one really SLOOOOW attack if you do so. It's a good thing they did do that, as it was broken. I'm still fighting with the AI, but they seem smarter, if not a little retarded at times. One example was one of my party members running up and hitting the enemy once, than running away like a little girl.
Another good RPG for the xbrick. I'm starting to wonder if the PS3 is going to catch up with all these. Well, Disgaea 3 looks interesting, but that's the only game I'd buy if I got the system. So far anyway.

Vesperia and Eternal Sonata both interest me. I want to check both out. So I guess new games aren't a total loss for me

Just finished .hack//GU Reminisce but now I gotta complete the extras before I continue. I just GOTTA see what you get at Guild Rank 10 and I bet it isn't anything good. >_> But I just wanna know dammit. I almost played The Two Towers game again but then I remembered why I quit: The Nazgul fight. I've only killed that bastard thing as Legolas, and that's because I cheated and shot him to death. Since all three characters have to defeat that mission to unlock the one mission...well, it pissed me off. It has an attack that shoots line of sight, then AoE, then charges you (and you can't dodge it) and, if you got hit by the first two attacks, you instantly die. And I always did. >.> Well, maybe someday <_<

Reminds me of Star Ocean 3 on 4D mode (zomgwtf hard mode) Getting out of the tutorial/story beginning alive is something else... I survived the last fight of the beginning with Fayt dead, and Sophia with one HP because she guts revived... and I ended up pot shotting the enemies with Sophia's attacks to MP death them... my GOD that was hard. I never wanna do that again. XD Speaking of hard, Suikoden Tactics is kicking my ass. The storyline fight I have to complete next revolves around me saving a mage, who just happens to be STUPID. Instead of attacking, he uses Silent Ocean, and runs around Wind of Sleeping everything... No real attack to save himself, so he gets one shotted before I could save him. Mind you, Silent Ocean is a good starting move from him, cuz it incapacitates the two mages near him, and turns his surrounding field to water elemental, which makes him stronger and weakens the enemies. However, the battlefield is really obnoxious, because the first area is bottlenecked, and the enemies are flooding down to you... After you get past that bottleneck you have to walk all the way to the other end of the field, and walk down a fight of stairs that goes the opposite direction before you can reach the bottom floor with him on it. I love that this game is hard, but it seriously makes me curse sometimes.

Got yet another new game, which keeps up with my "Can't stay focused on one thing to save my life" theory. I'm the same way masaia. I just got a new game too! lol. I got Resistence: Fall of Man today for the PS3. Really good game! I played it some today, then I played Ratchet & Clank Future. Also: I'm downloading the new Soul Calibar demo. And I downloaded a Resistence: Fall of Man wallpaper too! DF2506

Here's something differant. ScrewAttack had a phone interview with the one and only Jack Thompson. He's a bit more respectable than I had once thought but he's still just a plain old douche bag www.screwattack.com/HardNews/JTInterview

I'm afraid to watch that out of fear I'll get pissed off...but I'll take a look tomorrow when people aren't asleep. >.> I caved, and decided to play The Two Towers anyway. It's a fun game and very well made but it's HARD. I know I'm gonna get pissed off and quit again but I needed to satiate my obsession.

I never did play those LotR games but I did find it weird that the first game they made was based off the second movie but took place in parts of the first movie. Then the game based on the first movie came out AFTER but was made by a differant company alltogether.
It took me a while but I got my characters to 50 and now I am in the Void and ready to make my way to X-Death. I am stuck on a boss, TwinTanya(sp?) Hard as hell, it does nothing but AoEs, which are easily curable, but then it charges its Gigaflare which wipes out everyone except Bartz but hes pretty much dead anyways with only 300 HP left. I guess I shall look at GameFAQs.

Played Ratchet & Clank: Future and Resistence: Fall of Man today. R&C is great and Resistence is really good. Both are fun games. Also played the Soul Calibar IV demo. Wow. Great graphics; cool gameplay. I might have to rent this one sooner or later! Currently, I'm downloading my free PSN game I got with the PS3: Pain. I watched a video of it and it looked like it might be a bit of wacky fun. We'll see. It is free anyway. Also, going to download the Star Wars: the Force Unleased demo! Oh and I'm currently stuck on MGS4. Grrr...I suck at the Europe sneaking mission (where you have to follow the resistence member...). *sigh* I've had to repeat that over and over and over. I'm not giving up on the game, but I am fustrated. Wish there was some way I could skip over this section...lol! DF2506

There are some tricky parts to that section. I reccomend you use the Tranq gun for all of that section. Any parts where the dude you're following needs to go through an area where there are guards try and tranq them before he gets to them. Cause he isn't a smart man and he will try to sneak by them (poorly) or take alternate routes that will end up with him getting caught. And the reason I say use the tranq gun is for a few reasons. You can't get too close to the guards yourself so you need to be a distance to shoot. And there is a chance you may miss their heads and shoot their shoudlers or whatever. They won't be alerted if its with tranq shots like they would be with actual ammo rounds. Plus, when the guy you are following sees the bodys, if they are dead, he will get scared and will possibly run into an area you don't want him to go. But if they are asleep he will show confusion but will still continue on course. Its a tricky section of the game but if you've tried it a few times you should have some things in memory like enemy posistions and what not. So you'll know where you need to shoot guards etc. Also, speaking of the tranq gun, every time you beat a B&B lady, after she takes off her armor and trys to *hug* you, take her down with tranq rounds instead of actual ammo. You'll see why.
