There's a character Norfy would like in this game. Goes by the name of Freyja, cept she has loose, blazing red hair, a yellow hot-skirt and boots and a yellow vest. A Lion clone, huh? >.> For a second there I thought it was a Freya rip, but the clothes don't match.  |

Norfair: Yes, our tv is high def. We just bought one. Haven't tried the Blu ray movies yet. We're going to watch Casino Royale tonight. Edit/Update 1: Norfair, played Casino Royale on my PS3 today and it worked well. It was  We're going to watch Mission: Impossible tomorrow. As for MSG4, it is awesome. Although, I haven't been getting off the couch during those installs. lol. Its cool watching Snake smoke. I'm not a smoker...but ya...he makes it cool. hehe. lol! Kikaro: Ok, I finally agree you! I still love the Wii, but yes, the PS3 is the best system. Its so fraking awesome. Its in a league of its own. Yep, I'm a PS3 fanboy now. lol. ;D Oh and guess what? While I was out today, I BOUGHT Ratchet & Clank Future! LOVE this game. Its just pure F-U-N. Wow, its awesome. Oh and I'm definitly staying away from the downloadable one for now. To tell the truth, with my internet being as slow as it is, I'm not sure if I'll be able to download the downloadable one. lol. But that said, I'm having a TON of fun with Future. Man, its great. I'm definitly going to add both you and Norfair! Though, I don't have a Blu-tooth headset, so I can only text at the moment. Not sure when I'm getting one of those. lol. Edit/Update 2: Played more MSG4 tonight. It just gets better and better! Also played a demo of Lego Indiana Jones on the PS3. That game is alot of fun!  I'm going to play more Ratchet & Clank tomorrow. Looking forward to it. DF2506 |

Just wait till you get to Act 4's End Boss in MGS4, DF. Remember, close into melee, and use the Triangle moves.

I'm in Act 3: Third Sun right now. Wow. This level is SO different for the Metal Gear Solid franchise. Whoa, its awesome. Haven't played the level much yet, but what I saw was just great. Can't wait to play more! (aside: wow. That Laughing Octopus fight was flat out crazy. Fun too) So many different things in MGS4. I think this will end up being my favorite of the Metal Gear Solid games. Also: played Ratchet & Clank: Future today! And man...this game has a lot of great things too. The level that probably impressed me the most? That outerspace shooter level! That was like Star Fox times a thousand. Man, that was amazing! Oh and I also loved that level before that where you had to go around looking for the ship parts and...I got to play as Clank! And it was.... Man. So many cool powers there! MGS4 and Ratchet & Clank: Future are both blowing me away. These are two really, really, really fun games, with awesome graphics, killer sound, and lots of humor (both of 'em). Other things I did today with the PS3: -downloaded a Ratchet & Clank: Future theme. You know, I love that MGS4 theme I downloaded, but the R&C theme is cooler. -downloaded the Bionic Commando: Rearmed demo. Can't say I'm impressed. It was OK, but nothing special imo. As for tonight, we plan to watch Mission Impossible (the first one) on Blu-ray. Can't wait. Edit/Update: We didn't watch Mission: Impossible tonight. Not sure if I'll get the chance to play R&C again either. Anyway, I'd like to download another demo soon, but I'm not sure what's good. Anybody have any demo suggestions? Oh and I still need to add some people to my PSN friends list! I have no friends.  lol. DF2506 |

Try the Overlord Demo. And the Force UNleashed demo. And the Uncharted, and lets see... Burnout Paradise. So many demos.

Kikaro: I just wasn't sure if I was going to play more last night or not, but I did. I played the section where you had to fight in the arena (for Quark. lol). And now, I'm on the space station. Really amazing! Oh and thanks for the demo recomandations. I'll keep them in mind. Though, I won't have to download the Uncharted demo. I just rented it today! VERY cool game. Lots of fun. Also: rented a game for my Wii called Boom Blox. Neat puzzle game that makes good use of the Wii remote imo. And I downloaded Mega Man (NES) for the Virtual Console. MM is still a game is still very hard, but also still very fun. Later tonight, I'm sure I'll play more Uncharted. Tomorrow, I'll definitly play more Ratchet & Clank & Metal Gear Solid 4. I also want to download an Uncharted theme...if they have one. I haven't checked it out. lol. Anyway, so many great games for this system! I'm very happy with it. DF2506 |

Ohhhhh, just wait till you get to Act 4. Not only is it the most emotional chapter of the game but its just SATURATED in fan service! I loved it!  I have the Mega man collection still for PS2 so I won't download any Mega Man games other than 9 when that comes out. Come to think of it I should probably try and beat more of those games evnetually. i only ever beat the first one. |

there is an Uncharted theme, and the original Ratchet theme is the best IMO. the one with the blue background. It looks nice and it makes customer sounds and stuff.
I watch Bryce play uncharted, it looks amazing. I think the story is kinda fun too.

Norfair: Can't wait! As for Mega Man, I don't have the MM collection anymore (did have it once for Gamecube), so I'll probably download the other MM games. Other things PS3 related: -downloaded a demo for a game called Pixel Junk Eden. Very strange game. Not even sure what its about...lol. -Reserved LittleBigPlanet for the PS3. It looks like alot of fun. Oh and Gamestop gave me the Kratos costume download voucher! Awesome. Looking forward to this game! Anyway, haven't played any games today yet. I've been a little worried about doing the system update for my PS3. I heard when they did those Trophys a lot of peoples PS3s crashed and were no longer useable after the update. Sony fixed it but I'm still a bit nervous about going online with it after hearing that. its not a cheap system.

Norfair: The first thing I did with the PS3 is update it. I've been getting alot of trophies on Uncharted. Fun.
As for online, I haven't played any games online, but I've signed into PSN everytime I go onto the PS3. I check the Playstation store alot and download things.
*knock on wood* Its doing fine. In fact...I know I shouldn't say anything, but with the 360 I always had trouble logging in. I would always have to "test my connection" alot and stuff. With PSN, so far, I haven't had to do that. It just logs in.
Now, the network was down briefly today. So there was a point where I couldn't check the Playstation store. That didn't last long though. Next time I checked, it was up again and I downloaded the Bioshock theme.
I will say that downloading demos is still pretty slow on PSN. Well, for huge games anyway, but it does seem a little bit faster then the 360. I also like how you can play games & download demos. It won't download demos will its off, like the 360, but it'll download in the background while you play games and other stuff. The 360 would never do that. You could turn it off and download, but you couldn't play games & download. Well, sometimes arcade games. Only sometimes though. lol.
Oh and themes/wallpapers seems to download faster on the Playstation 3. Plus, all of the themes/wallpapers are FREE. Unlike the 360, where only some are free!
My PSN experiance has pretty good so far. I shouldn't say that though, cause next thing I know it'll mess up...*sigh*
Anyway, played more Uncharted. I'm on Chapter 11 now I believe. Or was it 12? Well, whatever chapter it is, I just saw a sniper rifle recently. Whoa. Very cool.
Hardest part of the game so far, imo, the upriver jet ski sequence. Whew. I was so happy to get through that!
I'm definitly playing more of this tomorrow. Maybe some R&C too.
Gotta get back to MGS4 soon also. lol.

Exact opposite for me. I found the 360 connected perfectly with no troubles. Its all automatic. Where as the PS3. You have to go through the configuration process and logging in. It all depends on your connection or ISP I guess but for me the 360 was so much easier to connect.
