Thanks for the tips Norfair. I'm definitly going to try that level again soon. Well, today I played Pain. Its a downloadable game I got for free. Just so wacky and fun. Lots of destruction! A good time killer. Also played Ratchet & Clank Future. So awesome. Love this game. I have to play more Resistence soon and of course, Metal Gear Solid 4! Oh and I'm still downloading that Star Wars: Force Unleased demo. Thats taking awhile. lol. DF2506

Sorry about the double post.
Tonight, I played Final Fantasy 7 and Final Fantasy 8 on my PS3. It was so great to play both games again. I only played them for a little while, but it really brought me back. It was alot of fun. I think Final Fantasy 8, especially, looked great on the new tv too.
Oh and I played some Pain also. That game is so crazy. lol. I have no idea what the people who made it were thinking when they made it. lol. Maybe I don't want to know. hehehe.
Didn't play anymore Ratchet, Resistence, or MGS4. Probably tomorrow.

Third post in a row? Yep. Sorry. I just HAD to share: today I got: SUPER MARIO RPG! For the Virtual Console! Yes, it finally came out on the VC today and when I found that out, well, I had to to get it! And its still great. Just a fun turn-based Mario game. I'm not very far in it yet. I only played a little bit of it today. I'm going to play it even more tomorrow. Its just a blast to have this game on my Wii. FINALLY Nintendo puts another great game on the VC. Very happy! Oh and I also got to play two new DS demos on the Nintendo Channel today. I played Spore Creatures and Mystery Case Files. Spore Creatures was neat. I like the whole create your own creature thing. It looks like its going to be a neat game for the DS. I'll have to play that demo again soon. Mystery Case Files, well, it was kind of like Where's Waldo? Expect, no Waldo, just random objects hidden around a level. Kind of neat, but Spore Creatures was definitly better. I did play my PS3 today too. I played Ratchet & Clank: Future, then Resistence Fall of Man, some MGS4 (didn't get anywhere...), and more Ratchet & Clank Future (love this game). Tomorrow, I'm going to play more Super Mario RPG. And of course, some more Ratchet & Clank, maybe some Pain. I also hope that Star Wars demo downloads finally. lol. DF2506

I heard that was coming out soon, Mario RPG. I will get it when I get back from Vegas, perhaps. I remember that game had some pretty solid music and it was pretty funny at times too. That was the first RPG I ever played. Well, first turn based one I mean. I did play Zelda but when it comes down to it Mario RPG was my first exposure to the world of turn based battles. I beat FF5 today. It's a pretty hard boss battle. Gil toss and dual cast Bahamut are great for it. The game has differant endings based on which characters are alive at the end of the fight. Faris was dead when Bartz made the killing blow so the ending was reflective of that. I know I could have easily revived her and then finish the battle but I guess I wasn't thinking. Etierh way, the ending was really only a little differant than when I first beat it 8 years ago. Except then Krile was the only survivor. The two endigns were pretty much the same with some small differances. I don't see why they even added that multi ending feature. Kind of pointless if you ask me. I have the optional dungeon open. I'll try it out tomorrow. For now though, I want to check out that Final Fantasy anime that is supposedly a sequel to FF5.

Got SMB today too. It was actually by complete fluke that I found it was released today. I was Wiki-whoring through FF Job classes and somehow ended up at SMB RPG (if you've ever spent any time on Wikipedia you know how you can randomly end up on a COMPLETELY different page from where you started) and it said it was released on the VC and...so I downloaded it. <.< I've played this game SO many times that I know what people say before they say it. I'm already up to 6 stars too. I'm progressing too quickly though; the monsters are starting to kick my ass and I'm starting to do piss poor damage, and when that happens in a game this easy you know you're doing something wrong.

I haven't started Suikoden Tactics again since the mage fight. I need to continue if I'm ever gonna beat the game. From what I'm seeing now, it's gonna be absurdly long, due to how long the battles are. Each battle usually takes anywhere from 30 mins to an hour to complete...ASSUMING someone doesn't DIE and I have to reset.

I played more Super Mario RPG today. I'm going slow with it. Taking my time. I'm in the sewers now. Fun game! Also played Ratchet & Clank Future. You know, I love this game. Its so GREAT. MGS4 is great, but I'm pretty sure that Ratchet & Clank Future is my favorite PS3 game. Its just awesome. ;D Oh and the Star Wars: Force Unleashed demo finally downloaded. Wow. What a cool game! Lots of destruction, lightsaber stuff is great, and the force stuff is jaw-dropping. This looks like its going to be a fun game. I'll have to rent it when it comes out! I played some Pain today too. Crazy game. If I get the chance later tonight, I play some more Ratchet & Clank Future & some more Super Mario RPG. DF2506

I'll have to check out The Force Unleashed demo. It looks lilke a great game. I'm not sure if I should get it for 360 or Wii. 360 has the graphics but the Wii will have wiimote lightsaber action, I am sure.

I can't take the apprentice seriously after SC4. He has a worse death groan than anakin <_< Been playing more Tales of Vesperia. Been a while since I actually liked most of the characters in a story. Well, minus the annoying kid. I hope they all keep their same personalities. I'd hate it if the main character has an epiphany and suddenly becomes wishy-washy instead of being a jackass

I've been watching Tales of Vesperia and looking forward to it, but it's the typical European RPG situation, ie I gotta wait at least another 6 months to play it. Oh well, Infinite Undiscovery comes out tomorrow though, and I've preordered it so I'll be playing that for a bit. Haven't played much recently so kinda looking forward to getting that. I've sorta gone off RPG's at the min, but I'm hoping this game will spark my interest again. I know according to reviews and such it's not the greatest game in the world, but I can see myself enjoying this. I'll let you guys know how it is.

We had it preordered too, til Best Buy emailed me saying it's backordered the day it was released.
Which is usually BestBuy-ese for we didn't have it to begin with.

A couple of days ago, I beat Ratchet & Clank Future! Just a really great game. The next day, I started downloading Ratchet & Clank Future: the Quest for Booty. Still downloading it... Hopefully, it'll be done today or tomorrow. Can't wait to play it. Also, I finally got past the Europe sneaking misson on MGS4. *whew* And then I moved on and on and on. Wow. Act 4 was just the best though. Loved that! Especially the dream sequence, but the whole mission in Act 4 was awesome. Oh and Octacon's Disc 2 comment was hilarous! hehe. Now, I'm on Act 5. I think I'm pretty close to the end. Just beat Mantis. What a fight! MGS4 is just an awesome game. I'm not sure now whether Ratchet & Clank or MGS4 is my favorite PS3 game (like them both alot) In any case, this system is great. I'm liking it alot more then the 360 even. Anyway, I'll continue playing MGS4 and soon I'll play the Quest for Booty. I'm also thinking about getting a Psone game from the PSN store. Maybe Syphon Filter, but I'm not sure. Does anybody have any suggestions? I'm thinking about getting one of those $5.99 Psone games (which is just a great price. Amazing price really. Think about it. those 64 games go for $10 and Sony is putting PSone games out there for $6! Wow) OH and I have to eventually get back to Super Mario RPG. lol. I would think it'll be this weekend before that happens... DF2506

Oh and Octacon's Disc 2 comment was hilarous! hehe. DF2506 If you do some exploration, you'll trigger flashbacks that earn you Drebin Points. In Crying Wolf's arena, you can even find the crashed Hind D. And if you keep calling Otacon on your trip thru the facility, commenting on how much of a harda$$ you were back then. And the post-Mantis section of Act 5 will be the most nerve-wracking, intense bit in the game. Honestly, I was sweating.

Heh, so was I. EDIT>> Some interesting, if not strange, news. Square-Enix offered Tecmo a deal to merge companys. Tecmo-Square-Enix? Square-Tecmo-Enix? Square-Enix-Tecmo? Right, whatever. Tecmo declined the offer and merged with another company instead. I can't remember what the company was but it was a lesser known one that made Dynasty Warriors. So yeah.....wtf?!

Last night I was having a Warhawk fest. Needed to get a badge to rank up and it was a pain in the ass to get. Had to get 3 bonus points, which is tough depending on the map actually, and get one vehicle kill while flying in a warhwak, and one troop kill, while flying in a warhawk. Sounds easy right? Not so much.
Not only is it increibly hard to aim at ground troops, due ot no lock on feature unless airborne, but getting a bomb or just surviving the onslaught of missiles and other jets is a pain in the ass.
I finally found that the guys in jetpacks count as a vehicle kill, and all I had to do was fly into them. Glorius day watching their bodies fly around after ive killed them. And I was lucky enough to suicide on a tank and got the credit for killing him. Good times.
The next badge was super easy, and so much more fun to get. Kill people in the jeep. Oh yes. It was me mowing down people on the ground from the safety of my little jeep. I had a blast with this badge. I was running around capping bases, waiting for the enemy, and when I had them in my sight id roll out into the open and mow em down. No gins or anything. Just a good old fashioned crunch as they roll under the tires.
I got so many trophies last night. My favorite which was minesweeper. I ran into so many mines and died a lot. The Warhawk trophies are awesome. You get the mfor dying a lot. I got one for Irony. I killed someone only to have him kill me at the same time. I got one for running people down wiht my jeep. It was called "Whats that on the windshield?" I love this game. THe latest update brought a new collection type gameplay.
Basically there are 4 orbs that spawn on the map and its a mad dash to collect them and bring them back to the base. Its chaotic, and oh so fun to mine up the spawn point of the orbs and just watch as people drive up and go BOOM!
Im loving this game and cant wait to get more ranks. The next badge i need is to get some kills while driving a tank. Oh yeah!
