Yeah you can do that but I use all my characters. I switch here and there.
Disk 1 is over. 7 hours.

Yeah, there is that feature. I abuse the hell out of it when I play through FFVIII. Hell, I abuse the junction system as a whole. It's so easy to over power characters in FFVIII that it's unreal. Probably why I like the junction system so much. Oh, and because I hate magic with a passion, so I prefer it this way, it has a use to me. Btw, did you go for Lionheart on disc one? Heh, that's a lot of fun, but it does make the game even easier.

More oblivion spam from me. This is my gorgeous man, Edwinn. i140.photobucket.com/albums/r29/yhamuna/oblivion/ScreenShot4.jpgHe's currently level 25, Master Alchemist, Expert Conjurer and Alteration. Working on his Heavy Armor and Blade skills so he can be a decent fighter too. This is Ed's new pet, the spider bitch. She breathes Lightning. >.> i140.photobucket.com/albums/r29/yhamuna/oblivion/ScreenShot6.jpgEd owns a big ol' house in Skingrad, complete with his own Maid. Her name is Eyja, and she gives me food and drink when I ask for it. i140.photobucket.com/albums/r29/yhamuna/oblivion/ScreenShot8.jpgFound this easter egg the other day in the game. I found a dead troll, underwater, under a bridge... he had this note on him, and some rare wine, for some reason. i140.photobucket.com/albums/r29/yhamuna/oblivion/ScreenShot2.jpgAnd finally... talked to this NPC just a few minutes ago, and choked on my drink when I read this. You can ask her if it was a first time offense, and she says no... so... yikes. i140.photobucket.com/albums/r29/yhamuna/oblivion/ScreenShot7.jpgBeen trying to explain this game to Dej, she thought it was online. It's completely offline. You create your own character, and it's very similar to an online game. You chose race, birth sign, and you can choose a class or create your own. The game functions a lot like any MMORPG, but like I said, it's completely offline. I noticed that the first two Elder Scrolls games are free for download. And, I own the last two... so I guess I'm gonna have to play them all. The storyline seems really good, and I'd like to know more about it.

100% offline. It is a good game and I should play it now that I can. Your dude has neat looking armor. Bethesda makes some interesting RPGs. I also want to check out Fallout 3 that is made by them. Totally differant setting though. Post appocolyptic world and its bloody as hell. But everyone I talk to says its great.
FFVIIII - I like a balance between physical and magic. This is why I am assigning each characters "roles" That is the good thing about this game. Any character can be customized any way you want. You can have em all physical or all magic or all hybrids. Or be like me and mix up each character. The junctioning definatly is interesting. Even though it was confusing at first (10 years ago I mean)
And no, I did not get the Lionheart on disk 1. I know it is possible though. I am currently looking at upgrading weapons. Everyone still has their first shitty weapons so I went back to Deling sewers and grabbed the weapon mag there so I can start getting new stuff. It sucks that Squall is the only one doing over 100 damage with physical attacks.
EDIT>> Oooohhh, Mass Effect has some new DLC. Hope its longer than the last one. I'll check it out tonight after the Ulduar raid.

Fallout 3 is excellent, but I'd wait till the Game of the Year Edition comes out with all of the DLC to play it. I want to get that edition when it comes out on the PS3. I'm playing: Animal Crossing: City Folk: Always. Ratchet & Clank Future: So great. Can't wait to play the new one. Scribblenauts: Love it! I also downloaded the Lost Planet 2 demo for my PS3. Haven't played it yet. Have to play it in the morning! DF2506

My dude in Oblivion did the arena quests, and is now the arena's "Grand Champion". When I did, I gained a fanboy, who looks suspiciously like a troll doll... My fame also increased by 20 points when I did the quests. Just farming now, but I'm gonna do the Mage's Guild quests soon, and then the Warrior's Guild. Love this game so much. My dude is my all time favorite character I've made. He's awesome.

I'm playing: Animal Crossing: City Folk: I have visited a couple of places recently and I got the new Japenese DLC, a Celebration Hat. Also, got a cool outfit called a Kung Fu Gi today. Scribblenauts: Such a great game! Love it. Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction: Really good game. I'm looking forward to the sequel in October a lot. Btw, I might get the new Kingdom Hearts DS tomorrow. I do not have it reserved, but I'm going to try and get it anyway. It looks really good. I'm looking forward to playing Kingdom Hearts again! My dude in Oblivion is now the Arch-Mage, leader of the Mage's Guild. I think I've finished all the quests for the guild now, unless something unexpectedly pops up. I'm going to tackle the Warrior's Guild next. He's also level 35 now. Will be running out of levels here soon though. Love this game sooo much.

I played some Oblivion last night. Probably won't be too serious with this game right now but I'll play here and there. It definatly is fun.
I'm not too fond with the character creation. It seems too complex yet you can't get a propor look. I didn't see a hair length option. I don't like having long hair unless I have a beard. The two go hand in hand. Its like, the law of masculinity. But the beards look horrible. They look painted on. You try to darken the beard and the skin tone goes lighter. That makes no sense at all.
Anyways, I am having fun with the game. Like I said, not playing to heavy into it. I'd rather be focusing on WoW and FF8.

I'm playing:
Animal Crossing: City Folk: Just changed my main floor of my house to the classroom set and my top floor to the space collection.
Kingdom Hearts DS: VERY good game. The graphics are excellent, the gameplay is fun, and the story is interesting. I do miss the exploration element that the PS2 games had, but I love the gameplay/graphics/and story of Kingdom Hearts DS. The new leveling up system is pretty cool too.
Uncharted 2 Multiplayer Demo: Downloaded this and I've been playing it since Wednesday. WOW. This game is awesome. I have to say that this is one of the best online multiplayer games I've played. I also have to admit: I'm not very good at the game. Still, I really enjoy playing it online. And I've decided to go ahead and reserve the game. The single player looks awesome (although I do hear its a short game) and the multiplayer IS awesome (and it will extend the life of the game). Can't wait to play the full game.
Scribblenauts: Found some more words & tried them tonight. This game continues to suprise & amaze. Love Kingdom Hearts DS, but Scribblenauts is probably the DS game of the year. Amazing title.
So, I will have Uncharted 2 and Ratchet & Clank Future to play this month. Can't wait. The PS3 is getting some great titles this year!
DF2506 " Plus, Home is getting a lot better."

Halfway through disk 2 on FF8 I think. Just finished Fishermen's Horizen and now I have to go back to Balamb which is occupied by Galbadian soldiers. I remember having to fight Raijin and Fujin near the Hotel. I have my characters at level 15 and I want to keep them there. I "Card" every random encounter so my GFs still learn abilities but my characters don't level up. I'm also not shy of materials for weapon upgrades either thanks to this.
I have decided to just say to hell with giving characters rolls. Its too much of a hassle trying to keep everyone's magic stockpiled. So I am doing what was mentioned. Have three stocked characters and Junction swap when need be. Its easier and more efficient this way.
Ugh, I can't wait for Diablo III. That game is going to be so much fun.

Anyways, I am having fun with the game. Like I said, not playing to heavy into it. I'd rather be focusing on WoW and FF8. Yeah, beards are awful. Really awful. I wanted Edwinn to have a light beard, but that can't happen. There is a hair length option, but no completely bald hairstyles. Closest thing is Military or Cropped. It's at the very bottom under the color slide bars. Randomizing looks bad too, cuz it never looks normal. I tend to want my chars to look young, the old ones tend to be awful. I loves mah Ed. So, so, much. He's got 9 levels to go before he caps out his main skills. Gonna remake him after that happens, with a more specialized class to maximize the amount of levels he can get. If I did my math right he can get to level 105 with the new class instead of capping at level 45. Did a Warrior's guild quest the other night, had to "protect" the guildmaster's son. 2 words to describe the son... REDDAS SYNDROME. He was all over the place, aggroing shit from miles away. He was aggroing them, not the other way around. Damn near got me killed twice. He "died" twice, but he fell unconscious so I didn't lose. Still, pain in the ass! Kinda pissed about being the Arch-Mage... I get no new duties, and I'm totally not respected by anyone. XD Also, the artifacts I retrieved are gone... I wanted to use them after the quest line was over with. Had a great necklace that gave a massive Magicka bonus. >.< i140.photobucket.com/albums/r29/yhamuna/oblivion/capture_04102009_184538.jpg - Ed is one gorgeous bastard. ♥ Gonna give him a ponytail next time though... i140.photobucket.com/albums/r29/yhamuna/oblivion/capture_04102009_182937.jpg - Pretty Ayleid ruins.

I'm playing:
Animal Crossing City Folk: Had a great time visiting with a friend last night.
Kingdom Hearts DS: Just gets better & better. Got to Neverland last night & got the Glide ablity. Very cool. Having so much fun with this one. Glad I got it.
Uncharted 2 multiplayer demo: I'm addicted. This is such a cool game. The online is just great. And yes, I went ahead and reserved this. Just HAD to get this game. Its going to be awesome.
Scribblenauts: Every once and awhile. I suspect I'll always be playing this game some (or at least until the next one comes out). Addictive game!

I beat FFVIII tonight. Love that game so much. I almost considered starting another play through and getting the Lionheart on disk 1 and plowing through it. Just for story sake. But nah, I will move onto FF9. I kinda wanna look up some Rinoa = Ultimecia gossip. I know there is no truth behind the theory but the concept still fascinates me. If it were true then this "happy ending" is false and the characters are pretty much caught in a perpetual time fuck up. Destined to relive the same battles for eternity. Kinda creepy but definatly interesting.

James does a review of the original Castlevania. And he's not his usual angry nerd self. Its a good watch for CV fans. And it makes me want to go back and try and finish it. This game has been haunting me for years. I need to beat thsi mofo. www.gametrailers.com/video/angry-video-screwattack/57393
